We are going to have some interesting updates and discuss topics emerging from the Pam Bondi scandal related to the firing of the nations two top fraudclosure investigators.

Prosecutors Say Florida AG Fired Them For Going After Mortgage Lenders

Two former Florida prosecutors are accusing the state Attorney General of firing them for going after mortgage lenders too aggressively.
The Sun Sentinel reported that Theresa Edwards and June Clarkson were abruptly fired by Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi at the end of May and say the attention they were focusing on combating mortgage fraud was the reason.
“Obviously we did our job too well,” Edwards told the Sentinel. “We were making too much noise.”
Again, we do agree about mortgagees needing to be evicted if they don’t pay their dang mortgage, we seem to be at loggerheads over the longterm complications to clear title, unencumbered deeds and securitized mortgage note holders standing in Florida’s rocket docket foreclosure courts.
The situation was well FUBARed before Gov Scott was elected and AG Bondi was appointed, but so far the two of them seem to be working against the basic tenants of property law as is the legacy of our country’s heritage post-Civil War.
