I noticed while I tried to link a story that I found in The Salt Lake Tribune on Free Republic that Freep rejected the link. I tried again. Reject. I tried another source to link to Free Republic. All is well. The Salt Lake Tribune. Nada!

Well that answers the question. But I still question if linking is breaking the law. That list on FR Copyright is huge!

It puts the site at risk of lawsuits if you try to get around it. Being the biggest guy on the block makes an attractive target for sleazy lawyers. Google Righthaven and you’ll understand.

We are just trying to get the word out. At least to some conservative sites we can link and/or excerpt. No one wants to steal intellectual property, especially from the gifted and retarded. So thank you for enlightening me. I will report on this in Special ED tomorrow.
