What took place this past Friday over in Norway, the nation that is the home of the Nobel Peace Prize, which is awarded each year in Oslo, Norway, in a very tragic ironic way with not only a horrible bombing attack in a government building in itself, but also the worse of the attacks, was over on an island which was an away summer camp for young people, when for a couple of hours, the man who not only had planted a bomb in the city of Oslo, but also shot and killed a large number of campers. The number killed who had attended the camp was eighty and those killed in the bomb blast in Oslo was seven, in which the man who did the shooting also had planted the bomb that blew up.

When the man who was arrested by police, who was responsible for both the planting of the bomb and the mass shooting death, who was dressed like a police officer when he went to the island where the youth camp was, was released, Anders Behring Breivik. As the investigation has been making discoveries, there was references made that he was driven for the nine years he was planning the attack by the word “crusade”.

From Yahoo News in Canada:”OSLO (Reuters) – The man suspected of Norway’s gun and bomb massacre had belonged to an anti-immigration party and opposed multiculturalism, Islam and the “cultural Marxists” of the establishment, web postings, acquaintances and officials said Saturday.

Anders Behring Breivik was accused of gunning down 85 people at a youth camp and killing another seven in a bomb attack on Friday.

“Before we can start our crusade we must do our duty by decimating cultural marxism,” said a caption under a video called “Knights Templar 2083″ on the YouTube website.

At the end of the approximately 12 minute clip, several images appear of Breivik, including one of him in a Navy Seal type scuba diving outfit pointing an automatic weapon.

Two pictures also appeared earlier on a Facebook page created on July 17. The video was uploaded to YouTube on July 22, the day of the attacks.

A Norwegian discussion website provided a link to an 1,500 page electronic book by an individual called Andrew Berwick, who also uploaded the video. In the book, Berwick is revealed as Anders Behring Breivik.

It could not be verified who posted the video or who wrote the book.

Finnish newspaper Helsingin Sanomat on its website reported that at least one Finnish politician, a member of the populist True Finns, received the e-mail manifesto Friday afternoon.

“Once you decide to strike, it is better to kill too many than not enough, or you risk reducing the desired ideological impact of the strike,” the book said.”

When it comes to standing up for the Christian faith and for the liberty of all peoples, violence of this nature, which claimed so many lives, MUST ALWAYS, NO EXCEPTION, be CONDEMMED, no ifs, ands, or buts. After this horrible incident, there was no dancing or celebrating in the streets by people of Christian faith. What I do not understand is why is the words “Christian” or even “conservative” is being used when Mr. Breivik is neither.

What has happened a few days ago is a reminder about the dangers of extremism when it ends up becoming violent.

Even better then what I can say, is what his holiness Pope Benedict has expressed in his remarks from his summertime residence in Castel Gandolfo, near Rome:”CASTEL GANDOLFO, Italy—Pope Benedict XVI on Sunday called on people to renounce hatred in the face of the “deep sorrow” felt over the terror attacks in Norway.

The pope urged people to pray for the dead, the wounded and their loved ones as he spoke to pilgrims and tourists from the balcony of his summer palace in Castel Gandolfo near Rome.

“Unfortunately, yet again comes news of death and violence,” Benedict said at the start of his greetings to the faithful. “We all feel deep sorrow for the grave terrorist acts.”

“I want to again repeat my grief-stricken appeal to all to abandon forever the way of hatred and to run away from the logic of evil,” Benedict said in his remarks, speaking in Italian.

A day earlier, the pope sent a condolence message to Norway’s king in which he denounced the “senseless violence.”

His envoy in Norway decried the terror attacks as “madness” and said in an interview with Vatican Radio on Saturday the victims would be remembered at Sunday Mass.”

His envoy in Norway expressed the word even better, “madness” which the events in Norway this past Friday was.

“July 23 – People light candles and the Prime Minister tours the Oslo blast site one day after a man kills 98 people. Rough Cut (No reporter narration)”

“July 23 – Foreign leaders offer their condolences a day after at least 94 people are killed in Norway attacks. Andrew Raven reports.”

My condolences and prayers to dear ones of those who were killed Friday.

The man had no Christian faith. He called himself a “Darwinist”. He doubted God exists. He used the term in place of “Western Culture”.

What gets me is that at first he was called both a Christian and a conservative, maybe in order to discredit both?

Another reason that the MSM and progressives always blame the Tea Party and conservatives is that it will leave that first lasting impression even if it is determined to be not true later. If you as people at random about the Phoenix shooter, you will get a significant percentage of the people polled that believe that he was a Tea Party member. You never see the MSM and progressives use the same zeal to correct the facts as they do to spread misinformation.

Violence Comes To The Land Of The Peace Prize

Their "peace prize" has been worth squat the past few years anyways. It may as well have been distributed via boxes of cracker-jacks.

.....And even more so, since Obama the truly insane reason GOT the peace prize a few years back. I remember when it MEANT a whole lot more, when it was the peace prize event which introduced the world, including me, to Blessed Mother Terresa of Calcutta.
