I thought he might make a good VP to Bachmann, but now he’s cheering on gay “marriage”. Forget it.

Hope this story gets 200+ comments and opens a few eyes - what he left out was the biggest land grab in TX history for the benefit of a spanish company - to build a toll road. He did this with no hearings and on his orders without input from the highway dept except that they could see it would be a part of their future.

Hey, give Perry a break.
I was a Democrat until the American Communist Party seized control of the Democratic Party in 1968.

The pro-Perry bullies don't like it when you question their RINO.
They will tell Mommy if you don't stop.

Be Very Wary Of Perry

To: AmericaTalks
Any person who reached adulthood, then got involved in politics, and supported a pro-abortion fanatic like Gore, should not be in any public office. I’m putting Perry on my “no way” list with Romney.

Sounds like a carbon copy of Bob McDonnell. Talks a great game, but nothing but a crony capitalist at the core.

If I understand Texas politics correctly, the Guv, in this case Perry, is only as good as his legislature.
Since my first vote for Reagan, all the other Presidential I've voted for since have more or less been Rinos.
I'm not going to vote that way any more, b/c even though I vote for the Rino to keep the progressive/liberal/socialist out of office, the Rino loses and all I feel is disgusted and the kind of dirty even a long, hot shower won't fix.
If Perry is nominated, I won't be voting for the Republican candidate this election. That will be a first for me.
Thank you, noJuan McLame, for that lesson. You've done your country a service by teaching us to NOT vote for Rinos!

Excellent post, but misses his habit of picking fights with conservatives in the Texas Judiciary. He’s repeatedly given preference to hispanic judges, and went out of his way to run one conservative judge completely out of office.
Perry’s record doesn’t pass the smell test. Not by a mile.
To: AmericaTalks
One good thing is that the anti-Perry goons from the liberal press and elsewhere are being matched early, hurl for hurl, by those in and out of the media interested in actually winning in ‘12, and over throwing Obama. Perry can do that and the word is starting to get out, especially dragging around a state like Texas as Exhibit A.

The Gardasil EO allowed parents to opt out. Therefore your statement that amost all girls would be forced to receive the vaccination is incorrect and intentionally misleading.
As a society, we usually vaccinate children at early ages to prevent them from becoming infected with various diseases later in life when they are exposed to such diseases. Vaccinating children early does not assume they will or will not be exposed to a disease. It’s a preventative measure.

Several of the issues, brought up in this article, are exacerbated by a common problem, illegal migration of poor illiterate Mexicans. They contribute significantly to the low wages, poor school performance, and health problems.
Texas is doomed. Babies of Mexicans already outnumber all other births in Texas. It’s just a matter of time. By around 2050, Texas, as we’ve know it, will be history.
As for Perry as a presidential candidate, he does not impress me. I’m sure hoping we can do better. But, we know how that hope thing goes.

Actually, the Debt to GDP ratio is misstated in this piece. I only look at the numbers for various states a week ago. It's actually around 19%, just like CA. I'd like to know where he got the 22.9%.
Actually, I *know* where he got it because a quick Google showed the number appears in older posts like this one at Daily Paul, pimping Ron Paul, and RBN, pointing to usdebtclock.org.
Unfortunately for this lying idiot writer and those sites, usdebtclock.org shows 18.66% as Texas Debt to GDP TODAY.
Who is Barbara Bush to lecture Perry on education performance in Texas or anywhere for that matter? I remember her husband wanted to be the "education president" in 1989 and then her son conspired with Ted Kennedy on "No Child Left Behind" modeled after Texas education!
Blah, blah, Gardasil, blah, blah, Democrat, blah, blah.

I think all of us here need to work REAL hard and compile a long and detailed list of what is wrong with Rick Perry, Mitt Romney, Michelle Bachman, et al, then send it to the DNC. I am sure they could use some new talking points. Seems like the Texas-friendly thing to do.....They will probably thank us by sending the RNC a similar list about what is wrong with BO....../sarc/

Written and promoted by liberals who know he would KO Obambi if he were to win the nomination.
Brought to you by the same crows who told us that McCain would be the best candidate for the Republicans.
Keep your ideas to yourselves. The Party will select its candidate.
