I thought he might make a good VP to Bachmann, but now he’s cheering on gay “marriage”. Forget it.

I’m not thrilled with the strictly pro amnesty Somos Republicans calling him the number 1 hispanic friendly US politician and in another story they suggest that the use the “un American” tea partiers to win and then toss us aside.

He is cheering on the power of state governments to do anything they want. He would be okay with legalizing any crazy or perverted thing at a state level I guess.

Perry is not “cheering” gay marriage. He is absolutely personally opposed to it because he believes it has horrendous consequences on our society and especially on children. However, he believes that the Constitution gives the states the power to decide the issue and not the federal government. Therefore, he signed a constitutional amendment in Texas to define marriage as between one man and one woman.

No he's NOT. He says let the states decide. Plain and to the point.

Just imagine if many more things were put in the hands of each state. We would have less abortion, unions, taxes, seizure of firearms etc....

I think it should be the Conservative motto.

Cite me one example where Perry has cheered gay marriage. His support of the 10th Amendment is hardly support of gay marriage.

Now you see what us Texans were talking about. We are not really enthused about him.
