'I thought birth certificate debate was over ... until now'
WND ^ | July 21, 2011 | Jim Fletcher

I have a confession to make: I thought the debate over Barack Obama's birth certificate was over.

That is, until I read Jerome Corsi's new book – "Where's the Birth Certificate? The Case That Barack Obama Is Not Eligible to Be President."

Think of the theme as "The Audacity of Cover-up." Corsi's three-year investigation has uncovered startling evidence that Obama brazenly raced to the presidency, without fulfilling even the basic constitutional requirement for the office.

The book begins with the media focus on the eligibility issue for the 2008 presidential election – the eligibility of John McCain! That's right: While Obama was foisting one of the most incredible stories of cover-up ever on the American people, the media decided to investigate whether McCain was a U.S. citizen (one can rightly wonder why they felt the hapless senator was a real threat to Obama).

Corsi, an extraordinary investigator (yes, he traveled to Kenya and Hawaii to uncover the truth about Obama's citizenship, although, as he says, many people would not talk to him), also profiles several attempts to prove/disprove various candidates' eligibility. His rundown of the efforts to question Chester Arthur's eligibility is quite fascinating.

Back to Obama.

The issue of where Obama was born is a story that won't go away, much to the chagrin of this murky man and his advisors.

The article is nothing but an ad for Jerome Corsi’s new book.

What exactly led you to believe the BC issue was closed?

Since it is an inescapable fact that if O was not POTUS he couldn’t have spent us into oblivion, homosexuals wouldn’t be in the military and obamacare would not be law - I have always been puzzled by the fact that NONE of our “conservative” pundits (Rush, Hannity, Levin, BOR, Coulter, Ingraham) have lead the charge on getting him out of office. The obvious forgery/counterfeit b/c didn’t even get them going. If one found out their spouse was nothing like what they claimed to be before marriage - an essentially an imposter - they would be justified in declaring the marriage null and void. It’s very odd and I don’t like it.

Not only the phony certificate...what about people who were there if there are any?

Surely, there must be someone who was there in '60 who could verify that little Zer0 was indeed born where he said he was...or is there masses of people who have come forward and I have missed them all?

The whole thing was just a test to see how stupid & gullible most of us are.

Now they know they can do anything they want and only a small percentage will challenge, and they can hereafter be easily 'dismissed' as conspiracy buffs, a bunch of Alice Jone's.

I guess Senator Portman (R- OH) thinks it has been settled too! One more name to put on txe Do NOT Vote For List!*

Dear Charlene,

Thank you for contacting me to express your views on the citizenship of President Obama. It is good to hear from you.

To be eligible to run for office, the Constitution requires the President to be a natural-born citizen of the United States. As you may know, the White House has released President Obama’s birth certificate.

I will continue to take the President at his word that he is a natural born citizen of the United States. I have chosen to focus on the policies the administration pursues, and whether those policies are in the best interest of our nation. Ohio and our nation face many critical challenges, as our economy continues to falter and deficits and our national debt are at record levels. On each issue, I will continue to fight for what is best for Ohio, with a focus on how it will impact jobs in Ohio.

Thank you again for taking the time to write. For more information, I encourage you to visit my website at www.portman.senate.gov. Please keep in touch.

Sincerely,

Rob Portman
U.S. Senator

Only about 25 experts have debunked the latest birth certifake. The think is as phony as a $3 bill. Maj Gen Paul Vallely showed it to 10 ex FBI agents and they all said its a fake. Who knows where the illegal alien sitting in the White house was born? The 535 people who run this country and the 9 SCOTUS justices have no curiosity about it.

The last BC was a bigger joke than the first. The believers wanted the debate to be over, they were happy to accept that nonsense as a legitimate document. For them, reality is a matter of what government confirms. It could have been scribbled with crayola on a gum wrapper, and the believers would have been satisfied.

Twenty five seems like a small number of challengers, but then I haven't heard of any expert coming out and staking a reputation on the assertion that the document is valid. I wonder if any computer forensics company has analyzed it and declared it valid. Unfortunately the issue looks completely dead with the electorate.

You heard correctly. As far as I know there has not been one expert that has stuck their neck out and said the Birth Certificate is valid. So that is pretty damming. You would think the Whitehouse would have their experts out there validating it. The fact that they haven’t is suspicious to say the least.

One document expert has filed a 22 page criminal complaint with the FBI demanding an investigation. Of course thats not happening.

I don’t want to offend anybody, but this issue has not and will not ever go anywhere. No one with any authority to do anything about it is even slightly interested.

Add Beck to your list. And yes, it does leave you wondering what is going on. It makes me feel like we’re all being played. Either all these conservatives have had their lives threatened, or they are all part of the conspiracy. Given that most of them receive threats all the time, I don’t see why a threat would stop them. Especially if they all banded together to get the truth out. The fact that they won’t cover it only leaves me with the conclusion they are part of the conspiracy. Then I have to ask myself, are they genuine, or have they just functioned as a pressure relief valve for the masses?

“Who knows where the illegal alien sitting in the White house was born? The 535 people who run this country and the 9 SCOTUS justices have no curiosity about it.”

And no wonder.... because the disqualifying aspect is in BOTH his birthplace AND his parenthood. All pro-offered evidence by Obama is that his father was NOT an American citizen. With that circumstance the issue of his birthplace is moot. Obama is succussfully whistling past the graveyard by creating a strawman issue of his place of birth.

Obama’s strategy has always been to turn the question of his eligibility away from the main issue of parenthood and towards birthplace where he can muddy the waters soo brown as to buy as much time as he needs to obscure the issue and buy enuogh time to irrepairably damage the economic and social fabric of America.

Obcessing on his birthplace without also questioning his parenthood is merely playing Obama’s game and makes me wonder.....”Who’s side are YOU on?” For all I or anyone else knows you could be a plant, and part of Obama’s stratedgy.....you are certainly playing a role that furthers his objectives vis a vis his legitimacy to serve as President.

BTW If Obama was born in Hawaii to Stanley Ann/Barack Sr as he has claimed mulitiple ways, and at every opportunity, he would not be an illegal alien as you so ridiculiously claim.
(Thats one reason why people claim “birthers are nuts” .....because of ill informed and ignorant statements like yours!)

Obama would, in fact be a born US citizen. Unfornunatley for him, (and us) that is not the Article II requirenment.......

From all availible information Obama occupies a position of power that he is not entitled have. The question should never have been about his eligibility, which he clearly does not possess, but instead “what are we gonna do about it?” Neither the Congress (at least the loyal part) nor the USSC (same qualifier) apperantly knows what to do about it given the overshodowing implications of racial unrest that could, and would, result if the traitor was both uncovered and removed without completing the term of office specified for a sitting (sic) President. How did we ever let things get so far?

God help us if we continue to both ignore the Constitution, and submit to the tryanny of Political Correctness.

22 pages of nonsense and abstract arguments count for nothing.

Most important, even the 87 members of Eric Cantor’s TP coalition in the House have not signed on to impeach Obi.

I surmise that they do not see convincing evidence. Sound evidence distinguishes conservatives from libs.
