Congressional Physician Negates Dubious Bachmann Migraine Smears (Letter)
Reaganite Republican ^ | July 21, 2011 | Reaganite Republican

"You are in overall good general health"

Meanwhile Bachmann now leads nationally, at least according to one pollster... what are your black ops crew going to come up with now now, Mitt?

Donald Trump (remember him?) is weighing-in again. He said yesterday on CNN that the old-guard GOP is misplaying their hand terribly by providing demagoguery material to the Left, and have brought back Obama "like the Phoenix" by doing ill-advised deals with him.

In sharp contrast to that, Trump sees Michele Bachmann as "highly underrated". Say what you want, but (famously) this is a guy who knows management talent when he sees it. And The Donald met recently with Rep Bachmann in Manhattan and walked away impressed: Trump in fact described both Palin and Bachmann as "smart people" who "know what they're doing".

He went on to say that largely due to liberal MSM collusion /character assassination plots they don't get the credit they deserve--- but we already knew that, didn't we.

The Washington Post has the full PdF download of the Congressional Physician's letter here

That and more at Reaganite Republican

REMEMBER...REMEMBER...REMEMBER...REMEMBER...

The dem/lib/prog/pops are led by the stain...and the stain is led by Alinski. To wit:
"If you push a negative hard enough, it will push through and become a positive."

Or...in plain English: Even a lie, if said long enough by enough people, becomes the truth after a time.

This is the kind of thing Palin has been subjected to since the summer of ‘08, and as much by “Republicans” as the commies in the other party.

This actually makes me like Bachmann more.

She’s already on my short list but the fact that the Republican establishment hates her this much raises her more in my estimation.

How different Mr. Trump is from the groveling GOP RINOs.

Jealous, misogynist RINO Governors Attempt to Silence Gov. Palin
"GOP Governors Pull the Plug On Palin's Press Conference
The Republican Governors Conference Press Guidelines promised
that Alaska Governor Sarah Palin would “take approximately
20 minutes of questions” at today’s morning press conference.
Instead, this press conference, attended by 150 local and national media
and taped by 26 video cameras, disintegrated into a fiasco
when Texas Governor Rick Perry shut it down after
only five minutes and four questions.
"

"Eight other governors assembled on the stage, all men, seemed
visibly uncomfortable with the “Palin at center stage” format.

When Perry stepped in front of Palin at the podium to announce
it was over just as it was getting started, Palin looked irritated,
and the media shouted, “You’ve got to be kidding,”
“This is ridiculous,” "Come on,” and
“We were promised more questions.”

Nice try, Brian Ross.
Now, slink back under your desk.

Trump is hard to figure. Overall, I actually like him and believe that he has good judgment.

Note that I would not vote for him, since his core beliefs seem unreliable to me, but I think he is a sharp judge of people.

Bachmann has actually been facing this sort of thing for most of the time she’s been in congress. In fact, all conservatives have faced a pretty steady barrage like this. Its just that not all get headlines.

My congressman’s worst critic is the “republican” he defeated in 06.

My feelings precisely

But Trump also brought a lot of things to the debate, like how Iran is set to snake Iraq’s oil.

He also said Iran would “never get the bomb on my watch” and “Arab countries hate us no matter what” so “go for the oil”...

THIS is what I want to hear, common sense!

And only Bolton will say it... although Palin and Bachmann also present acceptable positions on FP, maybe Perry too but that’s about it- Cain, T-Paw, etc are useless on Foreign policy

Trump was filling in where Bolton would have been in the debate, and since he’s not involved I for one was ELATED to have Trump around... I hope he stays involved, honestly.

Yup. I think it is highly desirable to have someone with national recognition say the things that other people cannot or will not say.

In general, a politician who wants to appeal to a vast number of people has to be careful about what they say about foreign policy, or social security, or abortion, etc. I wish that were not true, and I welcome those mainstream politicians with the guts to tell it like it -- but I understand why we almost never see such people.

Trump isn't running. He can say what he likes. And many people quietly nod their head and say "He's making a good point." There is great value in that.

I hope and expect that Sarah Palin will run. I think she also says a lot of things that others will not say -- but if she does not run, she can still perform a valuable service doing the kind of thing that Trump is doing here: say the things which people know to be true, but which they are afraid to say.

Be not afraid.

I would never vote for him, but you gotta be honest, Trump is about the only one who can go right for the jugular, and get everyone’s attention.

At least he shows he cares and has some fight in him.
90% of the republican candidates, just kinda nip around the heals.

Well it’s obvious to me the media is just properly vetting a potential future president. Brian Ross was awfully smug explaining how important his question was and implying she was too scared to answer it.

The media certainly made sure Obama’s background was thoroughly checked out. Previous buddies accused Obama of regular drug use and “dipping his feet” in both kinds of water so to speak so they needed to follow up on those claims...I mean ignore them since they couldn’t possibly be true. We have all his medical records, right? (sarcasm in the extreme)

The thing that gets to me the most is that so many Americans can’t even see the double standard in the media. The fact that many polls are saying the republicans are to blame for the debt crisis not being solved when Obama and the democrat run Senate have zero plans on the table ready to be voted on nor have they done a budget tells me the media has really been carrying the water for them.

I’d pull my hair out, but it’s falling out on it’s own! :)

We all know that this had to come from someone within her circle of influence and that makes it even more despicable.

IF she should get the nod and IF this issue is raised during the campaign, she could serve up a "knock-him-on-his-butt" challenge for Dear Leader: "Tell you what, O'Bummer, like John McCain did, I'll release all of my medical files (and not simply a one-page synopsis from my doctor as you did in 08) as soon as you release yours! When can we expect that, Mr. President?"

Game, set, match!!!

Bachmann hired Rollins to go after Gov Palin, so MB has set the standard herself...Kind of disingenuous to complain now about under handed tactics.
