I saw my first Obama 2012 bumper sticker today. At a Popeye's chicken.
I dont see how it is possible that there is NOT ONE DEMOCRAT who realizes this bozo is such a disaster for his party that they are going to challenge him in a primary
There you go, putting words in my mouth again.
If Obama wins again, (Which he has the traditional advantage) he will do it with the help of his ignorant and severely dependent following. He has created such a dependent recipient class of voter, the likes of which this country has never seen before, that it will be very difficult for him to lose.
There will be massive and highly organized fraud, the GOP vote will more than likely be severely fragmented (again) and The Treasury and Federal Reserve will pump trillions into the economy in 2012 to create a false economy again. (QE-3) And the economy will give the appearance of doing better.
And, like FDR for example, he won 3 terms with the greatest depression in history, approval in the low 40% a year before the election, but he won by catering to the biggest corporations, confiscated the Gold and taxed the “Rich” to the tune of 70% of their income, and he payed off the media to launch campaign propaganda against his opponent and to exxagerate his record.
Looks like the same thing is about to happen all over again.
So?..........what’s your point?
Pew Research, (Same poll data) 1227 RV Obama-48%, Republican-37%
spread = Obama + 11
First, he's trying to extend the dependent class, but hasn't done it yet. He hasn't succeeded, and he's not the one who got the ones who are there in the first place. He's trying, that's for sure, but your claim is exaggerated at best.
Second, FDR continued to win because of the war, plain and simple.
It's also true there wasn't a good conservative movement to counter FDR's nonsense.
Obama has a bad record of governing against the will of the American people. As long as we get a nominee who will take the fight to him, rather than play the kid gloves campaign McCain did, he's in trouble.
To begin with, the foodstamp rolls have gone from 26.5 million in 2007 to over 44 Million in 2011. The welfare rolls have more than doubled. There are over 15 million people still unemployed.
There is some exxagerating going on, I agree, but it's not coming from me.
Sorry, ignorance seems to be your middle name.
PSCHO-IGNORANT-FREEP.
Better.
About the only person I was ever able to “convert” was my aunt/godmother. Around the time so-called health care reform was about to become law, she was going on and on raving about how great this “reform” was going to be. Well, I started telling her all the downsides, including, but not limited to, the fact that health care is not going to be “free” (a popular misconception that still persists today) and that in fact we are all going to be paying through the nose for health care that may or may not actually be available to us. Some bureaucrat or a panel of bureaucrats is going to decide whether we can get health care and most likely, if you are chronically or terminally ill, elderly or otherwise helpless, your health care dollars will be taken away from you and given toward health care for illegals, slackers, unions, friends and family of Obama, etc.
Now my aunt does not know how to research on the internet, but to her credit, she did go to the local library and with the help of a librarian managed to pull up the real “skinny” on this so-called health care reform. She called me about two or three weeks later after she had had an opportunity to digest all the information and she said I was right. From then on, she has looked at everything about Obama with a jaundiced eye. Like most of my family, friends and neighbors, she always voted Democrat. But now she’s just not too sure.
I think it's fear. If the Clintons, with their vaunted private detective force, couldn't take Baraq down in 08, what Dem could in 012?
At this point, with this economy being in trouble, the generic GOP canidiate would come out the likely winner.
But don’t you think people would rather work?
