So, a "problem drinker" likes to drink and does not want to stop, even though it threatens his health, his family, and most of those he comes in contact with.
So he goes to an AA meeting "undercover" to expose the "lie" that God never intended for people to be perpetualy drunk, wrecking cars and getting in bar fights, etc.
And he comes away with audio of "alco-phobics" denigrating his chosen lifestyle of drunkeness - the major networks have a scoop - woe to those bigoted "alco-phobics", how dare they.....
So he is vindicated - his drinking isn't the problem, it's those intolerant alco-phobics.

Let’s think about this for a second. This pud munch comes into a mental health clinic and ASKS for help in avoiding homosexuality. The staff goes on the assumption that he is telling the truth and that the temptation to homosexual activity is causing him great distress. To give him solace and hope, they tell him that relief is available, that he needn’t despair, that there is a power that can remove his temptations and his pain.

And we’re supposed to believe that THAT is WRONG????

Whether one agree’s with a spouse’s professional methods or not is irrelevant, the conversations had between the patient and clinician are confidential.

My wife was a teacher and is not principal of a school. I don’t always agree with her decision making, but it’s none of my business as I don’t write her performance reviews.

Same goes here, if Dr. Marcus Bachmann’s clininc didn’t help the people he was treating, then they are free to go elsewhere for services. Whether one agrees with his theories, methods or anything else is irrelevant. They are paying customers who see value in the service provided by Dr. Marcus Bachmann.

I think the only ones looking bad here are ABC and NBC. They virtually ignored the ACORN tapes ( Where pimps are advised on how to transport under-age illegal sex slaves ) and are going after a Christian for being Christian. This report just looks desperate...I doubt that’s what they were shooting for. I did enjoy the first part of the story on how nervous he was trying to hide his “Gayness” while asking for therapy for “gayness”. I’m still trying to figure that out.
