Three Reasons to be Thankful for Barack Obama

As we count down the 2nd year of Dumb0's recession and the ongoing debt crises, it’s appropriate to thank the President himself. I was actually kicked off FReeRepublic in January '08 for suggesting that I would prefer a Barack Obama over a John McCain because while McCain would lead us sleepily down the greasy slope toward Euro-Socialism, Obama would push us down in a head-long rush which might awaken independents from their ideological slumber. I was right. Herewith, then, three reasons to be thankful for the President this week

His Laziness
Dumb0 combines laziness with intellectual narcissism. By all accounts from White House insiders and former colleagues, Obama simply doesn’t much like to work. Combine this with an intellectual narcissism which refuses to make decisions that have objective consequences which might show that he's not as smart as he thinks himself to be and you end up with Obama letting two of the most radical members of Congress, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid, write both the $787 Billion non-stimulating stimulus bill and the 2,700 page Health Care Reform monster.
Independents were exposed to the nasty underbelly of the left wing of the Democrat party nakedly and cynically using its power to help its friends, the rest of the country be damned. These independents have now seen that a substantial section of the Democrat party is really nothing more than an organized crime syndicate which works to take their money in order to buy votes from big labor and large public sector unions, members of which both despise and denigrate them. This led to both the TEA Party movement and the largest mid-term congressional shellacking in 70 years.

Putting a Stake through the Heart of the MSM
Never again will independents rely solely on the main-stream media to vet their candidates for them. The almost criminal negligence with which the MSM treated any questions about Obama's past or his qualifications to be President has been duly noted, and newspapers and left-wing TV networks have been hemorrhaging readers and viewers faster than a gut-shot hemophiliac since Obama’s election.
Despite being addicted to his Blackberry and generally feeling smug about his and his party’s use of the Internet, Obama apparently believes that it is still 1967 and that he can change the national conversation simply by placing a discrete call to Walter Cronkite. Those days are over, but Obama remains curiously oblivious to that fact. For that, we can all thank him.

Killing the Race Card
Don’t laugh. I don’t mean that the unhinged left won’t continue playing the race card, and doing so ever more shrilly. Most Americans, though, have simply stopped playing that game. If one can be called a racist simply for opposing a particular policy position, the word no longer means anything.
Many independents voted for Obama solely in an attempt to atone for America's legacy of slavery and racism. Paradoxically, perhaps, they have received that atonement. Independents voted for Obama and in return, Obama called them "scared" and "unable to think clearly" for opposing his policies. Whatever, dude. It will be a long time before independents ever again vote for someone strictly on the basis of gender or skin color. So as we take our staycations and celebrate our funemployment, let us drink a toast to Barack Obama for almost single-handedly and in spite of himself resuscitating American exceptionalism and saving us from a Euro-style Socialism. As he himself has said, "Well, the big difference here and in '94 was you've got me." Indeed we do. Jimmah Carter gave us 30 years of conservative (or quasi-conservative) leadership. Maybe Dumb0 can give us the next 50 years!

This will be a crash and burn.

Obama is putting this in overdrive.

I want to spit every time I hear his name.

When our President talks about 'doing something big'....

He didn't mean Joe BFD Biden.

Did he mean do something big, like cutting government spending by roughly 25%?

No, 0bama just wants another $2 Trillion in play money, and wants to raise taxes to get it.

More money for redistributing the wealth of America into the democrat party, his personal pleasure and social projects.

The worse it gets for taxpayers the more steadfast Obama becomes about how we must suffer at his hands. He, his advisors and the piss-stream media are detested, distrusted and detached from reality.

Hopefully he's beyond toast in 2012.

Did you in your wildest dreams envision a photo of a First Lady like this? (It looks like it HAS to be photoshopped, but it is not)

Have you ever seen an American president display such vulgarity on national tv or dare to be photograped like this?

Has there EVER in history been a photo taken of a U.S. President and First Lady at a public British Royal function with expressions such as these? (or a photo taken ANYWHERE of a pres and first lady like this?)

Just by the photos of the President and First Lady, Americans should be able to figure out that there is something terribly, terribly wrong here.
