If you’re talking about Colombia the country, the original name is “Moros y Cristianos,” that is, Moors and Christians. This festival is held in a number of places in Spain and Latin America, and usually involves a staged battle of some sort between the Moors (the Muslim invaders) and the Christians (native Spaniards).
