The court said Affordable Care Act is a ‘valid exercise’ of congressional power.
Here's all you need to know. The United States of America is hanging by a thread. If this abomination of a law is upheld by the Supreme Court, several state legislators will defend the constitutional right of their citizens. The gravity of the decision to come by the Supreme Court cannot be mitigated. If this law stands, there will be secession - and the Keynesian Kenyan will likely not leave well enough alone. Since he came here to destroy this country from the day he popped out of nowhere, he would no doubt declare war on the more virtuous half of this land that should be called the GFSA (God Fearing States of America).
If this saboteur wins re-election in 2012 and has his way with this nation for another four years, following is a projection of what the intellectually indolent media will be saying :
"Look at the parallels between Barack Obama and Abraham Lincoln... He's a second coming of Lincoln, from Illinois, he announced his candidacy in front of the state house where Lincoln served, he campaigned in front of Lincoln images in 2007, he served the same menu at his inauguration, was sworn in on Lincoln's Bible... AND NOW - he presides over America's SECOND CIVIL WAR..."
But the leftist sycophants won't be explaining that this man deliberately instigated and picked at every wound, sowed discord in every fathomable way and deliberately CAUSED the WAR!
His administration has methodically divided this nation day by day, step by step.
This corrupt regime is suing a litany of Border States for simply enforcing the federal laws for which this centralized government was constitutionally chartered - protecting the borders.
They are forcing the states to sue them for forcing citizens to participate in his Marxist healthcare scam. In a time of multiple wars he has forced the legal approbation of homosexuality within all branches of the military.
This Trojan horse is not content to stop there as his administration now seeks to promulgate homosexual “marriage” within the ranks of the military and indoctrinating our soldiers sowing discord in the midst of their engagements.
They are now spitting in the faces of grieving families as they fight to prohibit the use of the word God or Jesus at military funerals of our fallen soldiers (as we have seen this very week in the news).
This administration has worked tirelessly to prevent the enemy combatants from being tried at military tribunals, instead granting these terrorists “constitutional rights” in our own judicial system – rights of a constitution these enemies themselves abhor and are fighting to destroy!
And today, on the same day this federal court upheld this effrontery against our nation, Obama castigated our congress for attempting to save this nation from bankruptcy, demanding like a petulant child that they RAISE taxes in order to codify what will be the death knell to our economy.
This man who was raised by leftists in a disfunctional family, despising every principle upon which this great nation was founded is like a culmination of all our national sins, embodied in one very real individual. He has a plan for America and it makes fictional stories like The Manchurian read like Disney.

What civil war? I haven’t seen any fighting. We can’t even get enough people out to vote - let alone fight a civil war. Too many lazy Americans walk among us to ever do anything about the problems we are facing. Heck - most Americans don’t even know what the problem is - let along a solution.

It IS a definite violation of the Concstitution, but we have seen violations before and as soon as we get one more liberal on the court we will see it again.
As long as so many people are getting Welfare, unemployment, pensions, and there are still a few working there will be no secession.
We will have to wait and see what the Supreme Court says, but things will have to get a lot worse than they are before States and Citizens are ready to take the country apart and fix things.The next Civil war will not be like the last. No black and white issues here. This one will be political liberals against Conservatives., and it will be fought in the streets not in the South or the North, but all over.

Wow! It is scary that you don’t see this saboteur as a threat. Damn right it feels good to insult the intelligence of evil men. It feels good to insult satan himself - but to pretend that he hasn’t ALREADY done extraordinary damage (a fraction of which was enumerated in the aforementioned column) - to make such a pretense that this evil man is harmless is damn right irresponsible and credulous.

In all due respect (as far as I know), there are indeed many lazy Americans but- take away their entitlements and you will see how lazy and imobile these people are.
Sadly you’re right. IMHO there’s about 40% who know what’s going on. They’re hopping mad as they watch the country being flushed down the crapper. The rest either don’t give a shiite or they’re committed leftists who are cheering on the destruction. These radicals may get their wish, but what they don’t realize is the same fate awaits them as happened to the early Bolsheviks after Stalin took over. Most of those “useful idiots” didn’t survive the 1920s.

Publius321: Those who compare history with all of the usurpations and encroachments of this administration could easily see that the violation of the stares that culminated in 1861 were modest compared to the evil this terrorist and his regime have promulgated over the past two years. He has attacked just about every sacred pillar that made this country great.

Publius321: Obama would LIKE to make it out to be a racial issue but it won’t be. The southern states will be the main states to secede, the same states that are now suing the fed and the same states the Obama “Justice Dept.” is suing for enforcing the federal law the federal government itself violates.
Publius321: These were people saying the same things you wrote in the late 1850’s right up to the Civil War. They can’t envision it because of course we don’t WANT secession. States exhaust every last option against the tyrant until they have no other choice – just as our founding fathers did.
