The Houston National Cemetery has told veterans and volunteers alike that they can no longer use the word "God,""God bless," or "Jesus" at any and all funerals or condolence cards. The word has been deemed 'offensive.'
That is according to local volunteer and veterans groups that work at the cemetery. They are now suing the Cemetery in federal court so that they can use the word God.
To cite one specific example given in the suit, the director of the cemetery, Arleen Ocasio commanded volunteers never to use "God bless you" and "God bless" ever again at the cemetery.
Cheryl Whitfield, founder of Houston National Memorial Ladies, could not simply stand by. "I could've kept my mouth shut and let things happen, but when it comes to standing up for your belief in God and giving comfort to the families, I don't want to regret not saying anything," she said. "We all had to stand up for what we believe in."
Specifically, the suit brought against the cemetery and the Department of Veterans Affairs states that there has been "a widespread and consistent practice of discriminating against private religious speech."

These people can not be gone fast enough
1st Amendment City
The First Amendment is “Freedom OF religion” - not “FROM religion”
Enough is enough! We must take a stand. Please call Arleen Ocasio today at 281-447-8686 (extension 206) and e-mail her @ Arleen.ocasio@va.gov and respectfully ask her to let Pastor Scott Rainey pray according to his faith.

“The Obama Administration is trying to socialize the American economy and now theyre also coming after our religious liberty.”

I think this is a great idea!!! It lets people emulate the practices of a non-Christian “religon” by beheading those who are banning references to God.

(No wonder America is in such trouble. The more the leftists try to steer us away from God, the madder He gets at us. This nation was founded on a strong Christian beliefs and the leftists are trying to force us into turning OUR backs on Him!!
D’oh!!)
Beheadings of Christians will start soon. I am not kidding.
How do you get on this list of “People who must not be offended in any way”.
I am offended daily by some piece of idiocy. No one seems to care..........
People need to ignore the ruling. What the courts have ruled is evil and borders on absolute despotism.
These judges should be tarred and feathered and run from their benches.
They seek to be Gods but deny God. Damn all these judges and ALL those who accept what they say. They are not worthy to walk among us.
If true, this is nothing at all short of outright insanity.
Moreover, it’s a clear violation of the First Amendment.
Many veterans find Our Heavenly Father in the service of their nation. Our servicemen and women need the comfort and solace of being saved so if they are called, they can meet their deaths bravely.
I suppose allha akbar would be ok.
Those Veterans buried in Our Cemeteries sacrificed to guarantee me those freedoms.
In 2012, Let's elect an AMERICAN , who cares about This Country, not a kenyan marxist bent on it's destruction!
They always ignore that “...nor interfere with the free exercise thereof” part.

Athi-anarchists also.
What are they going to do? Throw someone in jail for saying God or Jesus. It’s America and we can say what we want. I would totally ignore this and say God Bless as many times as I pleased. This is insane.
