Craig Robinson aptly notes that while former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin hasnt been in Iowa much at all and doesnt have any official ground game she does have a ground game and it is formidable:
...Singleton and his team of Palin organizers have personally met with most of the county GOP chairs across the state. That is something that none of the current presidential campaigns can say that they have done. Instead of selling Iowa activists on Palin, they instead make sure that people understand that there is a possibility that Palin will run.
Even though Sarah Palin doesnt play by the same rules that seem to govern the rest of the field of Republican candidates, she has developed an extensive ground game in Iowa, even if its not being officially coordinated by her or her advisors. In many ways, I think that Palin is probably more organized in Iowa in terms of grassroots communication than most of the current field. (emphasis mine)
I can attest to what Craig is saying, there is rarely an event I go to where Peter Singleton and Organize 4 Palin is not. I cant say the same about the other campaigns. So if she gets in shell be able to hit the ground running. Im looking forward to seeing her politic at the cook off that will be held after the movie premiere at the Pella Opera House tonight, she will definitely be in her element there. She has the ability more than any other candidate, I believe, to enter this race late and still be competitive in Iowa.

Illegal? How so? Can’t a group of like minded citizens get together and ‘look around and talk to people’, and each other?
I seem to recall reading somewhere that people could freely associate. Some lost and forgotten paper or something......
Oh, what was it!
Palin is running for Veep. The last thing she wants is to be in the debate Q&A.
Ok.
Whats with the Facebook redirect?
.
Proof please? She did well in the VP debate in 2008, she also answered reporters questions 17 times on topics like foreign affairs and domestic issues with ease
Proof please?
OK I’ll be wrong after she files for President and appears in the contender debates.
As I figure! Like Rush says: one of those driveby responders
Neither Bachmann nor Cain have a prayer of getting the nomination. If Palin wants a candidate worthy of endorsing, she'll need to get in the race.
I've been saving "pop" bottles and have my first $ 1,000 donation ready to go the minute that Sarah announces that she is in the game.
My prediction is, if Sarah announces that she will run, her campaign will raise a minimum of $25 million in the first week.
I’m hoping Palin gets in the race and decides not to participate in those circus debates. She doesn’t need them, they need her. It works the same way with the media. Sarah Palin is a game changer so I wouldn’t judge the things she does because that isn’t the way it’s “always been done”.
I ran my 10th order computer model and it has her raising $54.7 million in the first 10 days! Go Sarah.
It was on Hannity one night and on Judge Perino another night.....the questions were, paraphrasing: Is there anyone out there that you can get behind yet? She said no one
Agreed. 1000 bucks at annoucement and 100 monthly up to the election. That should be doable for many of us.
Oh piss off.
LOL! Gotta catch my breath... That's the funniest thing I've seen all day ;-)
LOL!
Rogue to the White House, y'all!
I like Sarah, too, but vice versa will be fun to watch as well.
We shall see.
