Any remaining doubt that Media Matters reason-for-being is to take down FOX News? Check this out. Turns out the progressive, non-profit watch dog website has a FOX News "war room" that operates in four separate shifts from the hours of 5am to 1am. According to FishbowlDC, they employ specific teams that focus on Glenn Beck's radio and television show. Considering those folks will be out of a job come the end of the week -- Beck's last show is Friday -- and Media Matters

Actually Beck’s last show is Thursday but I suspect he’s going to smack the hornet’s nest before he’s done.

I could say it but this is, after all, a family oriented web-site!

These people are clowns. All they do is collect a fat paycheck from Soros and accomplish nothing. Of all the years the fag David Brock has been doing this crap, they have accomplished zero of their goals.

...it's perhaps surprising to hear Media Matters threw a big bash in Washington last night celebrating Beck's departure from FOX. Kidding, it's not surprising. Especially since Media Matters is apparently taking credit for the fact Beck is leaving the network (despite evidence to the contrary) . From FBDC's party report: This is probably the largest crowd weve ever had at Media Matters, said [Media Matters founder, David] Brock, scanning the room of mostly twentysomethings with beer. Of his employees who helped topple Beck, he told the crowd, They are tireless, tenacious and so so so so so smart.
Because of it, Glenn Beck is going to have a little more free time next week. The absence of Beck is not only a victory for us here, but a victory for civil discourse in our country.
Sad to see Beck go. Someone needs to show this article to Roger Ailes. This makes him look like a wuss.
Beck was a nice break from the O Reilly/Hannity formula, he worked up the liberals more than any of them could. He was the only one that talked about how food and energy prices would rise, and how the government couldnt successfully re-inflate the housing bubble.

Last week Bill O'Reilly encouraged viewers to challenge the site's tax-exempt status and subsequently the Fox Nation website is running a post entitled: 'Want to File an IRS Complaint Against Media Matters? Click Here...'

Missing Glenn Beck on daily radio for sure...Talk Radio isn’t the same without him.
Started listening to him Day One when he came to Philly Talk Radio back in 2001, and it sucks that the scum on the left have been able to force him off - and the cowards on our side cave in and let it happen.

They’re tax exempt so this type of “war on Fox” is illegal and there “should” be an immediate tax audit and possible prosecution of the violators.
That said, they ARE a propaganda arm of the democrat party and it is highly doubtful that anything will happen; even if both houses and the WH go GOP next year. The GOP elite has never had the nads nor the inclination to raise and maintain a political fight, choosing instead to be “gentlemen” (now violently retching at that thought).

This is why we need a really conservative network. Fox has leftists on staff and most are moderates.
A real conservative network would give them fits.

I think you must mirror their activism. We need, a paid professional staff to counter and publish a response to their attacks. AND- a legal arm to find ways to attack their sponsors.

Time for We the People to form a conservative cable TV network. We’re outnumbered 30 to 1 now and FOX keeps getting more moderate. Now Beck leaving. Is Pravda winning, or are there some media/entrepreneur types out there willing to take this on? If we had a billion, (or whatever it took),I bet we could get enough FReepers to put this together.

I totally agree, but who is the conservative Soros counterpart/Sugar Daddy to bankroll it? Liberals seem far better at raising cash for sustained political activism than conservatives. Where are the big conservative foundations equal to Ford and Rockefeller to hand out right wing cash?

I gave up o Reilly and RINO/RNC Hannity years ago but Cavuto and Beck are my favorites, Megyn Kelly rings my bell too as more of a non-partision reporter type,
Try Fox Business Channel.
