If it’s “ham-fisted” it’s on Mr. Bannon, not Governor Palin, who didn’t pick the venue. Or are you someone who believes in Palin conspiracy theories?

No, it's a stroke of genius.

It maintains the uncertainty over whether or not she is *really* going to run.

It steals the oxygen from both Bachmann *and* Obama (yesterday and today both will have been in Iowa).

It is a good entrée to the Dutch Reformed people who might otherwise be leaning to Bachmann (as another Freeper pointed out in a long screed a day or two ago).
