Is this what the Left calls civility? The Facebook group "I hate it when I wake up and Sarah Palin is still alive" has grown to well over 3,000 members. 3,249 people to be exact. Over three thousand left-wingers wish to see Mrs. Palin die. And their group's official picture:

Can you imagine if Sarah Palin were liberal, but otherwise had the same family and had held the same elected and appointive offices?
She would be praised as one who broke glass ceilings in the corrupt Alaska old boy government club.
She would be praised as having the guts to take on an incumbent governor of her own party, because she wanted to do something about ongoing corruption.
She would be praised for her work in the state agency dealign with natural resources.
She would be praised by N.O.W. and all the supermarket women’s magazines for “having it all”. She truly has it all, when you consider that she has risen high up in a chosen career, and combined that with a happy marriage and family life. But liberals can’t talk about that because Sarah isn’t liberal.
She would be praised for her caring motherhood towards her special needs child.
She would be praised for her firm but loving parenting towards her daughter who got pregnant with no husband.
If Sarah Palin were liberal, she would be praised as a combination of Joan of Ark, Mother Teresa, Annie Oakley, and Rosie the Riveter.
Sarah Palin personifies a lot of what the N.O.W. crowd and liberals say they want for women. Sarah has combined family life and a tough professional career. Sarah has accomplished a great deal in her life which is admirable. But the N.O.W. crowd can’t recognize any of it, because the N.O.W. crowd and liberals only recognize the achievements of liberal females.
The slight difference is that whole “alive” thing.
Me to, I hope some has a list of names.
It’s all traceable back to the White House.
It’s scary that this is the same base that gave us the “messiah.”
What I find interesting is that if you ask them why they don’t like Gov. Palin, they either recite something Tena Fey said or site something they read or heard someone else say.
These liberals do not have a clue as to what she believes or says.
It reminds me of when I was debating with my 18 year old anarchist brother today about why he thought Bush was dumb. He wasn’t able to tell me, then I spouted off Bush’s business record and how he graduated from Harvard and Yale. After those statements he just got frustrated and started calling me names.

Liberalism is about demanding that conservatives support those who could work but choose not to be productive - and then hating those who support the lazy. Sarah is a woman who has dealt with all the “trauma” that leftists couldn’t handle and come out the other side gorgeous, independent, and successful. Of course they can’t handle that refudiation of their helplessness mantra.
No, but he loves Ron Paul, thinks the US is a source of evil in the world (you know because we start wars and target innocent women and children) and he wants drugs legalized.
Oh and he hates Sarah Palin because she’s stupid and women shouldn’t be in politics.
