Dream Act: Obama passes amnesty by executive order
examiner.com ^ | 06/23/11 | Gil Guignat

Posted on 06/23/2011 3:26:20 PM PDT by SGW

Last Friday, with no fanfare, no press coverage, and with every effort made to hide his actions from the American people, President Obama enacted the DREAM Act by executive order. Opposed by a majority of the American people and twice defeated in Congress, the DREAM Act grants amnesty to any illegal alien residing in the United States if s/he agrees to enlist in the U.S. military or enter college. The Obama administration memo from the John Morton, Director of I.C.E. (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) directs I.C.E. agents now to use “prosecutorial discretion” with regard to enforcing immigration laws. Director Morton says that Obama Administration policy directs border patrol agents not to enforce immigration laws: “When ICE favorably exercises prosecutorial discretion, it essentially decides not to assert the full scope of the enforcement authority available to the agency.” You read that right. According to the Obama administration “favorable” enforcement means NOT enforcing the law!

Obama will never be re-elected. I am sure of that. What he does on his way out is what concerns me the most. He will inflict as much damage as he can on this country. There is a virtual media black out on this back door amnesty/dream act executive order yet it is now passed.

Showing his scorn of Congress.

Not to mention his scorn for us.

So all that needs to be done to undo this crime is to prove he is not a legal president, right? Surely there is someone out there with undisputable proof that will come forward with this after seeing what he really is- an evil entity set on destroying the country he has no ties to.

I don’t think he cares about a second term, he just wants to do as much damage as he can during his first one.

We really need to turn the illegal immigration situation around, it’s a just a terrible non-policy. But I hear crickets from the republicans. Even though big majorities oppose illegal immigration. We’re lost.

When James II was forced off the English throne during the Glorious Revolution of 1685, one the the reasons was his refusal to enforce the law and his determination to pardon anyone convicted of violating laws opposed by the Crown.
Of course, the laws opposed by James are different from those opposed by Mr Obama but the situation is the same: an executive who holds the law in contempt and uses his power to block enforcement.

EXCERPT: Crass and Cynical on Illegal Immigration
Townhall.com ^ | May 12, 2011 | John Ransom / FR Posted by Kaslin

If you didn’t notice, the president is running for President again. That’s why all of sudden he’s gotten interested in “comprehensive” immigration reform. If that sounds crass and cynical, then you are right. Crass and Cynical run the White House for at least 19 more months, dispensing law and justice to the rest of us. The guy who rushed out to get trillions for banks, big pharmaceuticals and unions, practically ignored the topic of immigration reform when his guys ran Congress for two years and could have written their own version.

Indeed one of his wise-guys from Chicago, Rep Luis Gutierrez (a former cab driver) recently noted “[Obama] has the power to make things better right now without the Congress having to pass any new laws.”

Yeah, he can just do what he did for gays, unions, Chicago and all of his other cronies: He can ignore enforcing the old laws he doesn’t like. Or maybe he can grant every illegal immigrant a waiver, like he did for his favorites under healthcare “reform.” Why hasn’t he presented an immigration reform proposal? Because had Obama passed immigration reform under a Democrat-controlled Congress, he would have had to take responsibility for passing it. If he ignores the old laws now, he’ll have to take responsibility for that too. And if there is one thing that Obama hates, it’s taking responsibility for anything.

The president dispensing law and justice followed by his prepared remarks can’t possibly end soon enough. And it’s telling that Obama doesn’t think that Hispanic voters deserve the benefit of law and justice or quaint notions of the truth. Instead, we have a president who is perfectly satisfied in making sure that millions of illegal immigrants stay here illegally, wholly dependent on his minions ability to give or take away residency.

Obama’s conversion to a believer on immigration reform has more to do with his prayers to save his job as president than it does about actually improving the security of the county, economic or otherwise.

“Hispanics are a key element in his reelection campaign,” writes the Daily Caller, “partly because his support among working-class whites and swing-voters [has] crashed after two years of lousy economic conditions. But Hispanics’ turnout is low, and their lopsided support for him has tumbled from 68 percent to 54 percent over the last few years.” And if Hispanic haven’t noticed that Obama’s running for president again, they’ll notice soon enough now that Crass and Cynical are in the race.

The Furher has spoken and I guess and that’s that.

Little O’Bammy straight-faced told Congress he does not have to obey the War Powers Act, threatened Texas with a NO-FLY Zone edict, (Really bammy? A “no-fly” zone over the entire state?) ignored Congressional Subpoenas from the Fast & Furious Congressional Investigation and amnested 30 million criminal illegal aliens with a damn MEMO, all in the past three to four weeks.

I can only conclude that the little prick is 100% nuts, will claim he can do anything he wants and American Citizens that demand the current administration actually obey the law can go to hell.

And what will the communist-in-Chief do when the election rolls around and the donks/commies and Acorn are bulking up the voter registrations?

I can hear the bull$hi+ now…

“well, they are going to be here from now on, they should have a say in the elections.”

And that will be it.

I’m not sure that he won’t be re-elected. His throwing bones like this and the 33,000 reduction in troops in Afghanistan will placate some in his base. He is the master of smoke and mirrors. They will vote for him, because they despise Republicans more than Obama.

Passage of this is outrageous, especially in this fashion. He doesn’t care about the opinion of the American people or that of experts, and this, as well as the troop reduction should dispell any thought to the contrary.

Everyone needs to get involved to stop him.

Im afraid I must agree with you. If this goes unchallenged it will change America forever. We will have no two party system, not even a pretend system of checks and balances.

Im very much afraid the time is getting close were the American people must act or lose this country.
