"The woman was videotaping a traffic stop in front of her house at night. The video speaks for itself."

What she did in March, or 10 years ago has zip to do with this particular event.
Thanks, that got everyone in the room laughing...
I mean, a snarky tone at least rated being thrown in a cage and maybe even a few cracks with the night stick...
Too funny...I needed that!
Cheers~
The local DA and the LEOs need you on the jury!
Throw the book at her, as she's clearly a threat to the cops and entire neighborhood.
Gezzz...this is so fun!
Ah tell ya...YouTube keeps generating all these videos, and law enforcement will be convicting very *few* people in jury trials...
I'm mean, it would have to be a jury of controlling homeowners association types, to convict her of anything.
But I do love some of the comments here. Comedy gold!
If you do not assert your rights you do not have them.
I do not give a rat’s anatomy if she was trying to cause trouble or not. She had every right to stand in her yard and video the event.
The cop was just playing “my d16k is bigger”. The cop explicitly tried to set up and excuse to arrest her. If he was afraid of a woman with a camera several tens of feet away, he was too timid to be a cop. He should be modeling panties, or maybe diapers. What a sissy.
There is a hint (in the comments) about her being right on top of them. The police asked her to move back. But like a child who stubbornly does what he is told by backing up exactly one inch, this woman (may have) obeyed in rebellious increments until she was finally told to go into her home.
Show me the police video before I hang the officer.
QUOTE OF THE DAY 11-18-09
Did you really think we want those laws observed? said Dr. Ferris. We want them to be broken. Youd better get it straight that its not a bunch of boy scouts youre up against... Were after power and we mean it... Theres no way to rule innocent men. The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there arent enough criminals one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws. Who wants a nation of law-abiding citizens? Whats there in that for anyone? But just pass the kind of laws that can neither be observed nor enforced or objectively interpreted and you create a nation of law-breakers and then you cash in on guilt. Now thats the system, Mr. Reardon, thats the game, and once you understand it, youll be much easier to deal with. - Ayn Rand, Atlas Shrugged 1957
"Frack the officer. If he doesn't "feel safe" maybe he should get a job modeling women's panties."
Probably already does that too. News is full of stories of theses perverts.
underage pervert, nude photos of DV vics, child porn, more child porn, sexual battery, strip searching at road stop.
And that is just this week.
Love Rand. I hear you!
Wrong. She was filming a stop in case something sinister happened. You know, like a cop arresting you for being on your own lawn filming a stop. Something sinister like that.
How hard would it have been for her to go into her home when asked?
Pretty damned hard, whatwith America supposedly being free and all.
She knew what she was doing and clearly did not listen to an order.
It was an illegal order.
She listened when he asked her to step back but never to go in the house...weird.
She shouldn't have stepped back, either.
Who goes outside to get fresh air with a camera in hand?
People who are keeping cops honest.
Someone who is doing it on purpose to interfere with a police investigation.
Filming is not interfering.
They got better, in America. Then they got worse.
Sometimes snarky is appropriate.... like when a cop tells you to go inside for no apparent reason, on your own property, except he doesn't like to be videotaped.
A nice Eff Bomb would have been more appropriate.
There are plenty of crimes...and people come out of the woodwork to see what the cops are doing. This cop was waaaaay off base. What happened to the person he WAS arresting? And why didn’t he call for backup. Fire the cop!!
I know you are kidding.
Wow, you are serious. This is an egregious Police State style overstepping. It doesn't matter what her political opinions are. Fact is, she's doing nothing threatening, on her own property, and the cop is totally in the wrong.
“First we beat the Soviet Union. Then we became them.” — Lazamataz, 2005”
Ain’t that the truth? There is this slow, creeping, insidious loss of liberty and trashing of our Constitution going on in America, and much of it is being perpetrated by so-called officialdom, allegedly to keep the people safe.
My blood pressure ratchets up every time I see these videos showing blatant abuse of the citizenry by those who took an oath to protect and serve the people (LEO, TSA, etc). They need reigned in.
Ticketing cars at a support meeting for Emily
Maybe somebody can post a hot link
If she does, it will be the taxpayers in Rochester who have to pay. The cops who participated in this need to be charged, convicted, and imprisoned.

Sorry to hear about your friend. I hope she has fully recovered from their assault.
I passed you sympathy along, she is fine it was about 6 years ago. They did break her wrist but it has healed well.

The same imbeciles who are mindlessly coming to the cop’s defense are the same people who would have been Loyalists during the Revolution.
We’ve always had such brainless twits among us, who have no concept of liberty.
