This week The Audacity of Hope, the US boat to Gaza, will sail to Greece to rendezvous with other international ships. From there the flotilla, named "Freedom Flotilla II - Stay Human," will attempt to sail to Gaza to challenge Israel's unlawful blockade which has effectively imprisoned 1.6 million civilians, almost half of whom are under the age of 16. Aboard the ships will be hundreds of peaceful activists and observers, and some ships will carry humanitarian aid. Here in Austin, CodePink invites you to join us for a symbolic launch on the Pfluger pedestrian bridge. We don't have our own boat, but we will gather to educate Austinites about the crisis in Gaza, and hold a brief ceremony in solidarity with the flotilla. Please join us at the Pfluger pedestrian bridge. We will "launch" at 10:30 am.

BTW, who in hell are they going to impress with this effort? I don't get it.
Ping to Kristinn, your buddy is going on a cruise.
They’ve already got a lot of Nazis in Austin. This is just going to draw in more. What a bunch of antisemitic punks.
Hey, guy! How’re ya doing? Long time, no see. We need to have another freeper meeting in town.
I’ve been fighting Cod Pink for so long, and they’ve gotten pretty tiresome. Remember all those rallies against them out at the Bush Ranch?
If you get a group together, freemail me and I’ll try to show up.
Mari
I would love to go, but it might be a sinktilla if I went.
Oh Lord, the ISM goddess martyr...even the Palestinians thought those people were crazy and didn’t trust them.
Is there some way we can compel certain elected officials to participate in the rally, and maybe eventually get a ticket on this ride...
I’m thinking Shiela Jackson Lee, right off the bat...Pardon the pun...
Who else can we include???
