The key to the ultimate effectiveness of a documentary like The Undefeated is more than just how many people see it or even who those people are. Certainly that matters to some degree, but so does how the very existence of the documentary changes the national political conversation. Naysayers of the The Undefeated dismiss the films impact by telling us that only Palinistas are going to bother to buy tickets. In other words, since the film preaches to the choir there will be no new converts. Intentionally or not, thats a fairly simplistic declaration that doesnt take into account how the film will impact the political news narrative an impact thats already apparent to anyone paying attention.
Thanks to the overwhelming publicity the film has already generated (along with the fortuitous combination of the email dump), for the first time since Palin arrived on the national scene her impressive record as the Chief Executive of Alaska is finally getting some serious media attention. Today in the Daily Caller, Rick Manning has an excellent piece that touches on this very subject. In an editorial titled Will the New Palin Movie Sway Voters?, he closes with this:
Right now, most Americans are desperate for a leader who will be unfazed by the entrenched big-government culture that pervades D.C. regardless of which political party is in charge.
Most Americans look at the crowd of Republican candidates for the presidency and yearn for someone with guts, charisma and accomplishments.

Name calling - now there's an impressive debate technique.
Internet quotations........Abe Lincoln????? I thought Al Gore invented the Internet.
Because they were scared sh!tless of her. In their minds, she had lived our her usefulness. They wanted her destroyed since she is just as big a threat to the Establishment as she is to Democrats.
Yes
On the contrary...her decision to step down from the governorship reveals a depth of maturity, judgment and decision-making that is absent of most politicians today.
....and your post in particular.
LTNS! Good to see you too.
Hope all is okay with you.
I'm still here but just don't post a lot anymore.
I read a lot of threads though.
You take care, ya hear
“So if Al Qaeda gets tough, or the Chi-Coms get tough can we expect a President Palin to quit?”
This is a ridiculous comparison. I don’t think AQ or China will sue in court, costing her ten’s of thousands in personal dollars. I think she’s got the wherewithall to direct some pretty shrewd foreign policy.
EXACTLY!!!
Thank you for that response to our thread disruptor, Patrick1. I will will nominate your post as the Post Of The Week. That puts you in running for the Post Of The Year! Congratulations.
if that is any indication of his prediction prowess, Sarah is truly ineluctable!
That is an absolutely idiotic analogy.
A contractor builds a house and then job doesn't exist anymore.
Every governor in the history of the union does the job for a limited amount of time than hands it off to the new governor. The job of "governor" is never completed, unless the state disappears as a political entity.
She had a fairly impressive set of accomplishments while in office, which you seek to negate because you object to the timing of her inevitable handoff to a successor.
That really makes little sense.
My fave is Clayton Bigsby, the “black” white supremicist.
A close second is the “when keeping it real goes wrong”
Kind of like Obama who immediatly started campaigning for POTUS only weeks after winning his Senate seat???
Patrick, tell us why she quit? Tell us what would of happened if she did stayed?
“Who needs the ****ing heartache?”
A Patriot with a servants heart.
It just will be, it’s that simple.
