National Polls Show Romney Leading, But Tea Party Candidates Rising

"In previous posts, we have seen why national primary polls need to be viewed with skepticism. With few people paying attention early on, name recognition becomes a bigger factor than it will be on voting day. National primary polls also fail to account for the impact that winning (or losing) early states has on the candidates' support.
But national primary polls can be useful in comparing apples to apples: If two candidates both have high name recognition, the one leading in the poll is probably in a stronger position. The same is true for comparing two candidates who lack name recognition. Also, if a candidate lacks name recognition but is still beating a well-known opponent, the well-known opponent is in trouble.
Today we will take a look at some recent national primary polls. Note that only one of these, taken by Rasmussen, was conducted after the June 13th debate...."

I believe Mrs. Backmann will be TPC falling if she doesn't quickly take a philosophical stance against state mandates.

I don’t know were they take these polls. I have talked to my family back east, by friends here in the Midwest and have yet to talk to anyone that would vote for Romney. I even reached out to old navy buddies and yet to get a positive reaction to Romney.

She is not going to let herself get sidetracked by arguing about state mandates when she in running fro office at the federal level. This is one candidate who is disciplined and knows how to stay on message.

Taking a philosophical stance against ALL government mandates isn't an argument. It is a heartfelt passion that she doesn't have.

The Tea Party doesn’t want a RINO like Romney!
To: gov_bean_ counter
Has anyone even asked her that question? Have the other candidates been asked?

Was Bachmann specifically asked?
She’s been very upfront about her desire to repeal Obamacare.

POLLS POLLS POLLS, rOMNEY rOMNEY rOMNEY. Yeah Riiiiight. Wait, there will probably be a slam dunk in the works, that will put an end to the Romney lead. My guess is we may hear it July 4th. Those of us who voted for Palin for President (Yeah for President, who voted for McCain?)in 2008 will have a larger turn out in 2012, if she is on the top of the ticket. Romney/Bachmann isn’t going to win it in 2012’.

Neither can I. The MSM is pushing him on us just like they did with McCain and we know what a disaster that was.

I fear for those “tea party” candidates. As soon as they get hold, like Michelle, some Palin supporters come along to tear her down, I presume because they are afraid that a strong tea party candidate IN the race might discourage Palin from entering the race.

No, she is just another cowardly politician afraid to tell it like it is.
RomneyCare at the Federal Level or the State Level because of it's Mandates for Purchase is Socialism.
If she is too chicken to be loud and vocal about this issue when directly questioned no less, then she isn't fit to lead.

What'a amazing Charles is that poster's like yourselves totally ignore the facts of the case, and then state some nonsense about Sarah's supporters, presumbly IMO, because as your posting history readily reflects, you have never liked Sarah Palin.
THe facts concerning Bachmann:
1. Up until several weeks ago she was an outspoken conservative Republican unafraid to speak the truth to power about every possible issue
2. Her first mis-step was hiring the lowlife clown Ed Rollins who has never been an honorable consultant as his past history readily shows. This shows very questionable judgement on the part of Michelle. It is possible to hire someone who is tough, but still honorable. Michelle chose not to.
3. Her hired Campaign Manager then goes out to pick a fight with Sarah Palin and her supporters and then glibly makes the statement that he really wants to convince Palin supporters to support Bachmann, Stike Two!
4. She, when directly questioned multiple times, refuses to point out the Socialistic nature of RomneyCare with it's mandates and it's underwriting of those who can't "Afford it".
When these Issues are pointed out by supporters of Palin and others, your first reaction is too accuse them of alterior motives or basically, of a total lack of objectivity because they want to destroy anybody who might be a threat to Palin.
What you have totally discounted in your silly proposition, is to many of us, Bachmann was our 2nd or 3rd choice, dependent on where Cain was placed, for POTUS.
