Air Force Academy Creates Worship Space for 'Earth-Centered Community Friday, June 17, 2011 By Patrick Ryan
(CNSNews.com) - The United States Air Force Academy has created a worship space on campus for the Earth-Centered Community, which, according to the Air Force, includes among other denominations the Wiccans, Druids, Heathens and Pagans.
Col. Robert Bruno, chaplain at the Air Force Academy, told CNSNews.com that the academy created the space in response to a request from a few service members and cadets who belong to the Earth-Centered Community.
In the Summer of 2009, a small group of Earth Centered Airmen and cadets requested the support of the Chaplain Corps at USAFA to accommodate their religious requirements, Bruno said in an e-mail to CNSNews.com.
"Our constitutional options are to either directly provide that support or facilitate it, said Bruno. Since none of the chaplains represents any of the Earth Centered traditions, direct support was not an option. Therefore, we facilitated it through an outside endorsing agency whose staff are subject matter experts in Earth Centered traditions.
Earth-Centered includes Wiccan, Druid, Heathen, Pagan, and Native Americans to name just a few, he said, adding that: They represent a tiny fraction of the demography of USAFA, the AF, the DOD and America.

I don’t see a problem with this. Wiccans, Pagans, and so on are not going to plant bombs, try to impose Sharia on the country, and so on. They are peaceful people who get along with their neighbors.
A radical mosque with a hate spewing imam would be another matter, though.
I'm thinking of a design for this space. It would look like a crater.
I understand, back in consensus reality, they call these spaces 'forests'.
Next week they are creating a space for human and animal sacrifices.
These are to be future Air Force Officers? It would just have to be hell if your Commanding Officer was a Lesbian Druid. All perfectly "normal" in today's military.
The article says it’s and “outdoor worship space”. Mebbe a barbecue pit and a few stone benches under some willows, perhaps?
And it’s for all the Wiccans, Druids, Ey-ow-how-how’s, etc. to share equally.
Doesn’t sound too threatening, to be perfectly honest.
I suppose the muzzies already have their mosque and footbaths?
Good.
It’s about time soldiers start getting some of the freedoms they’re risking their lives for.
Don’t most Air Force Bases have this already? They’re called “golf courses”.
"Firstly, madam, I have no desire whatever to, as you phrase it, 'jam' with you. This is a worship space! Secondly, even if I wished to do so...I have a musical instrument. You have a bicycle wheel."
Is that Teri Garr? God I love Teri Garr. Which makes it odd I need to ask if someone is Teri Garr or not, but still...have I mentioned Teri Garr?
Good Lord. It is amazing how the evidence keeps mounting that the American leadership is bankrupt. Any random brain wave is immediately adopted.
Islam will one way or another take credit for all of science achievements
Seems like this probably started during Vietnam? “Behold a Pale Horse” ; Men who Stare at Goats” and similar works of
fiction? We were Protestant,Catholic, Jew, or nothing at all
Officially when I served to protect and defend our Country and our Constitution(69-77) But some of the stuff I remember that nobody wanted to talk about on the official record-was talked about in the barracks. And now what was covert ops has become mainspring and the Christian Soldier is no longer lauded—and I hear No longer promoted.
“service members and cadets who belong to the Earth-Centered Community”
Non compos mentis.
Seem to recall a story last year? about how the Air Force Academy was all astir because somebody left a little wooden cross at this site-offending the unbelievers.Mikey Weinstein the anti-religious Jewish attorney who specializes in tormenting the Academy was involved ,somehow.
Well the Druids practiced child sacrifices, Vikings had their funereal human sacrifices, Voudou folk be killin’ lots of chickens goats, not to mention using cigars and rum in rituals to call up the dead, etc.
Who gets to go first at the summer solstice, hmmm?
And I suppose that there will be a pit leading to the subterranean Morelock community, who as we all know are the ones that really keep those machines flying. That should get top priority. Certainly over the St. Gore-man-bear-pig statue.
