The DU is so bizarre. They support this weirdo because he’s really nasty to Republicans, and only because he’s really nasty to Republicans. Shows terrible judgment on their part.

I think that the fundamental problem is part of the mob mentality (cue Ann Coulter).
The emphasis is on beating the EEEEEEVIL Conservatives/ Republicans-- not on cleaning up their own ranks.
Weiner needed to go as a public good. When you can't tell right from wrong anymore-- it's time to get out of the game.

Where was Huma, the loving, understanding and compassionate wife?
BTW the press conference was a circus. He deserved the circus.
And it is now one for the history books. Good riddance.

Weiner's cooked, but there's no point in relishing it.
I'm gonna miss these threads...

The discussion now moves to academic considerations of why the people who wanted Weiner out couldn't close the sale.["The people who wanted Weiner out"? I thought it was Weiner himself?]
If only al gore hadn't invented the Internet, weiner would have never gotten into trouble.
The wife is to be home tonight, MONDAY. Trip changed [Oopsie! Oh well, Huma will understand. No worries.]
After weiner had hidden all the ash trays and lamps, he let Huma into the house.
Appears this thread was premature[Freudenschade: The premature elation of the DUmmies . . . ]
weiner be-gone for good, PERVERT!

A pre-mature Weiner thread. How fitting from the party with no family values.
Bye-bye pervert, DLTDHYITAOTWO.
