This is a rare occasion where a hat tip to The Atlantic
Beyond the loyalty southern California residents show the Lakers I'm not actually a devoted follower of basketball...but I know enough to know LeBron James had this coming.
I don't mean to pile on to the huge helping of humble pie this guy is being made to eat....but I have to end this with a good joke Hugh Hewitt told on his radio show earlier this week...
Q: Why didn't LeBron James go to college?
A: He didn't want to take the finals
LeBron is a bit if a crybaby. Remember the video where Jordon Crawford dunked on LeBron in a camp pick-up game and NIKE and LeBron tried to take the video cam so it couldn’t be shown online?

You know, this is stupid. Sour grapes to the max.
Under normal circumstances, yes. But James' ESPN circus of an announcement was beyond the pale.
I say let him have it with both barrels.
When the reality is that he is a Scotty Pippin or James Worthy and just isn't up to the role and spotlight he has been thrust in to.
so we look in the mirror and the enemy is us....
who the Heck are these people that buy jerseys, sneakers, etc with someone's name on it?...just to make a statement?....I mean really...get a life...
James outsold everyone else because people expected a Championship and were jumping on the bandwagon in droves. The hype was continuous the entire season.
But now that reality has set in and people see it was smoke and mirrors, let's see what his sales numbers are like next year.
I know! I don't get it.
55 years old, beer gut, spindly legs sticking out of shorts. Like HE ever played basketball. I just don't get it. You want to "show support" for "your" team? But a friggin' $100 ticket and a few $10 beers.
True, but I don't agree that it is something that the state government of Ohio should be stepping into. It just seems so petty.
While I generally support Gov. Kasich, perhaps he can learn from Florida and consider a state budget which eliminates its income tax.
If you look back far enough into his campaign, he proposed that. But since the passage of SB5 he has had to back down a bit.
Still, he's been straight up on what it will take to balance the budget as required by state law.
Personally, I loved it when he told all the people who hate him that they could go back to their miserable lives while he is sitting at home in his mansion surrounded by the wealth that they paid for.
“It just seems so petty.”
This whole thread is petty...
