Today Michele Bachmanns spokesman, Ed Rollins, whom she recently hired, had some rather nasty things to say about Governor Palin. In order to give Bachmann the benefit of the doubt, we respectfully request that she either affirm her support for the long-time beltway fossils idiotic comments or refudiate them.
Update: (h/t Jim R) Via the Star Tribune, another of Bachmanns employees, Andy Parrish, attempted to rationalize the comments of her newest employee, Ed Rollins:
Bachmann aide Andy Parrish said Rollins was not speaking as a Bachmann adviser. The Congresswoman and Ms. Palin have an excellent relationship, Parrish said in an e-mail. Rollins was in his media analyst role.
People can judge for themselves whether this convenient excuse explanation is credible
or not.

Call 651-260-4648 to tell her what you think about Rollins!
BTW, Rollins doubled down on his attack against Palin with Chris Matthews today.
;-\
I don’t remember the exact details but he(she?) was zotted for making some sexually-tinged attack of Sarah Palin.
Thank You for the info.
I HAD pretty high regard, and visions of a fine future for Mrs. Bachmann........after Sarah serves both of HER terms as POTUS, of course. But if THIS is any indication of the REAL Michelle Bachmann, that frosts it for me!
It’s amazing to see them, one-by-one, fall by the wayside, mostly because they just CAN’T resist shooting off their big mouths, or having someone else do it FOR them!

Congrats Onyx! Good Hollandaise is tough to achieve.
I really used to like Michelle Bachmann, even thought she might make a good VP to Sarah but now I’m running away from her as fast as I can.
Excellent post I agree.
“I’m just one those silly TEA bigots”
I’m a TEA supporter (and drinker) as well.
The ‘silly’ folk of which I spoke are those, for timely example, who opposed Bachmann’s creation of a TEA party caucus in Congress. With equally silly reasoning like ‘we have no leaders’ and ‘we don’t want to be affiliated with Congress’.
Michele even gave the TEA party response to the SOTU. At their request. And did a fine job in my mind. But some TEA folk were so pig headed as to criticize that great publicity because, in their mind, Bachmann is part of the establishment.
I’m not accusing you personally of such ‘non-serious’ behavior.
Backstabbing &*$%#*(*()&&: "I love you, Mitt.
I'll hire Rollins for you.
We will attack (Gov.) Palin (who helped me) for you."
I ate too much! I am now so tired I need to lie down and I hope I fall asleep!
Same here and now I’m done with her.
I’m so tired tonight, and I have posted a lot on the subject yesterday and today, but earlier this afternoon my close pal, Pen opined that she thinks Mitt promised her the VP slot and that makes sense.
You’re on the right track, too!
And whats with the “they”?
He always claims Reagan ‘84 but President Reagan was always ahead.
He gave Clinton the election - he ran Perot’s campaign.
Someone here said that if by Friday she hasn’t given Rollins the boot,(though in the cbyer age faster would be better)shes toast/ That makes sense to me.
It’s funny that I have never liked MB from the git go but I never said anything negative about her. I thought she had a great bit of hubris to think she could run for the presidency without ever having any executive experience. Congress does not give one the right kind of experience to be able to handle that high position. She should have run for governor and then run for president. Just reading what I saw of her, she seemed too self-serving to me. I would never have voted for her.
My experience, exactly!
Added to the “official” dictionary in 2010!
Might notice a name missing on my tag line.........Guess who.
