Today Michele Bachmann’s spokesman, Ed Rollins, whom she recently hired, had some rather nasty things to say about Governor Palin. In order to give Bachmann the benefit of the doubt, we respectfully request that she either affirm her support for the long-time beltway fossil’s idiotic comments…or refudiate them.
Update: (h/t Jim R) Via the Star Tribune, another of Bachmann’s employees, Andy Parrish, attempted to rationalize the comments of her newest employee, Ed Rollins:
Bachmann aide Andy Parrish said Rollins was not speaking as a Bachmann adviser. “The Congresswoman and Ms. Palin have an excellent relationship,” Parrish said in an e-mail. “Rollins was in his media analyst role.”
People can judge for themselves whether this convenient excuse explanation is credible…or not.

Representative Bachmann (R), has a narrow, short lived window of opportunity to set this right. Right now, her “spokesmen” are taking a very bad job and making it worse, and bigger.

In his roll as analyst, and not in roll as campaign advisor? Really? He’s a CNN analyst and this was not on CNN. Weak excuse IMO.

He trashed her again on Chrissy Matthews show, or so I hear(I refuse to watch that progressive network) if this is the kind of politics Michele wants to play I want no part of her..its not just because she sends her hired goons to trash Sarah, its the fact that she is proving what a backstabber she is(And I am saying this as someone who has always supported Michele Bachmann, I wanted them both to be on the same ticket for goodness sake!)..Sarah Palin campaigned for this woman, how can she turn around and allow this guy to trash her like this. Michele has to put an end to this or else all she is showing is that she is just like every other politician out there..a sleazy one

People had a fit when I and others questioned her judgement over the birther issue. She isn’t helping her cause hiring one of the uber-RINOS to lead her campaign.
She has some excellent qualities. Too bad.
