Today Michele Bachmann’s spokesman, Ed Rollins, whom she recently hired, had some rather nasty things to say about Governor Palin. In order to give Bachmann the benefit of the doubt, we respectfully request that she either affirm her support for the long-time beltway fossil’s idiotic comments…or refudiate them.
Update: (h/t Jim R) Via the Star Tribune, another of Bachmann’s employees, Andy Parrish, attempted to rationalize the comments of her newest employee, Ed Rollins:
Bachmann aide Andy Parrish said Rollins was not speaking as a Bachmann adviser. “The Congresswoman and Ms. Palin have an excellent relationship,” Parrish said in an e-mail. “Rollins was in his media analyst role.”
People can judge for themselves whether this convenient excuse explanation is credible…or not.

BTW, Rollins doubled down on his attack against Palin with Chris Matthews today.
She was already becoming damaged goods in this home with her rude and annoying phone calls demanding money all the time. I told them to take a hike last week...had enough!

And, to your point, I am reminded of the comment H Cain [an ordained minister] made the other day about M Bachmann and praying being a private matter.

I say again: it is -possible- that the principal target -was- MB, rather than SP. It would not be the first time a mole infiltrated a campaign in order to blow it up from the inside with some outrageous “support”.

Sarah doesn't deserve this and everybody knows it!!! Trying to eliminate competition before the race starts is the "Chicago Way" and you must not go there!!!
Everybody also knows that in a primary contest, the cream quickly rises to the top and that you meet the same people coming down that you stepped on on the way up!!!
This will cause a deep split in the Teaparty and is self-destructive. Fire Rollins TONIGHT! He's a loose cannon trying to use you to resurrect himself into the big leagues while spending all your campaign cash!!!
No real conservative with integrity would allow themselves to be used like this...

I have been warning about Bachmann for weeks now! It is almost all that I have been posting! MB is all about MB!!!
She has zero chance of winning, is only a spoiler at best.
The idea that she would even consider running against Gov Palin just shows her very very very very poor poor judgment!!
Big lapse of judgment on her part, not to mention that it casts a dark cloud on her integrity.

I still say she has earned the right to set this right . . . But she needs to be as swift and fierce as a lightening bolt. Mushmouth or “nuance” is -not- going to do it!
