I always SEARCH before I post. I search BOTH TITLES if there are two. There are numerous times that a search does not show an article has posted in a thread and it has.
Just a FYI for all ya'll mods out there in moderator land that get snarky.
MOVING ON and TO CHANGE THE SUBJECT Where's Obama? Golfing?
Already posted.
LOL and how many threads that say the search function is broken even when you search two titles?
Seriously is Obama golfing?
LOL

ROTFLOL!!!!
this thread is going to close and locked in 3, 2..
Do not search full titles. Choose one or two unique words that are at least 5 letters long.
It works.
Are you a secret mod? Is the list of mods cosmic top secret?
I posted an article once after doing a search. Nothing came up, but later I did find a second thread (prior to mine) where the poster had put the author’s name first. The mods didn’t catch me though, as the threads were a week apart.
You have won the Internets!
Aren’t you supposed to mark VANITY on vanity threads? This would seem to be pretty series....
We need a ‘search function’ sandbox ...
I think correct titles and authors are important.I won’t tell on you.
Every once in a while, it will work.
Usually the search engine will stubbornly default to keywords no matter how many times I try to search titles, no matter which angle I try to approach the engine.
Besides, why can’t it find the actual whole title???
Doesn’t that strike you as a *little* odd? Is this a microsoft class of feature?
ROFL!
Yeah we do. But I am telling you it sometimes just don’t work.
Exact title searches are your enemy. Search for relative keywords (more than one).
LOL I think we have to do download patches like XP.
Jim told us we could snark anytime we want. It’s one of the perks of being a mod.
Too often, the search feature hiccups on full titles, possibly because of three letter words, which it does not like...
