Good way to get mugged -- if you're walking down the street and are approached by someone who makes the hair on the back of your neck standup, you have two choices:

1) I don't want to appear scared, or perhaps racist. I will stop for a moment, and chat with this gentleman and his associates.
2) I don't feel good about this. I will cross the street or turn around and I will walk faster. I will not stop. I will run if the urge takes me. I don't care what they think. My safety is more important than "politeness".

The media mugs people. Don't be a victim.

I agree that the media should be given proper responses..

Giving "proper responses" served me well during my 45 years while owning a medium sized retail business.

For those few decent and honest members of the media I treated them very politely as I would a mushroom ( Keep them in the dark and feed them crap ).

For those hatchet job liberal media members I very politely did not return their calls
