That is some of the rudest satire out there.

Advise to writers...
Just because you want to write satire, doesn't mean you should write satire.
This is crap.

Romney in the whitehouse means the govt. back under adult supervision at least and we all get to wear the magic underwear, what’s not to like?

Badly written but dead on the Mormon part. Romney’s Mormonism will guarantee he will carry UT, southern ID, part of NV and AZ and Western WY - all without him saying a word.
Romney = Obama with an “R” after his name.

Yes, I have heard the mormons and beer on fishing trips jokes - from a mormon. ;-)

Mr. Romney, who has dispensed with neckties along with the second t in his first name, all in the name of making himself over into a regular guy, stared out at the astounded media folks with a look of triumph. Hello!
His first name is WILLARD!

These absurd attacks read like something out of the daily kos. Packed with dumb ad hominem attacks, not a shred of facts. Bunch of hick bigots.

So other than the fact that this is satire, though not the best I have seen, what shreds are missing?
All satire is based on some facts...
And there is little here to earn the charge “hick bigots”...

And we’ll continue to see posts on how people don’t hate Mitt simply because of his religion.

That hes a draft-dodging investment banker? The draft was a form of slavery which was tolerated during times of real national danger since if we ever lost something like WW-II, we'd all be slaves more or less. The lesson of Nam, which was never codified into law but has been made practice, was that you cannot draft the boy next door and tell him that it's somehow or other his patriotic duty to go into harm's way over some sort of a stupid game.

What's yours?

I think it's damned funny, and spot-on.I agree.... I have posted that Huntsman has borrowed the Clintonian "depends on the meaning of "is" when asked about his mormonism.
The article could factually have had references to more arcane mormon beliefs and practices and mentioned the White Horse Prophecy and the fact that a mormon expecting to defeat a black man given the mormon church's racist past it ridiculous.

GRANTED our system of money was never meant to sustain the gigantic increases in debt within a space of two or three years which we've seen and granted it was not intended that other nations hold US debt...
Nonetheless our entire system of money is BASED on government debt. THERE IS NO OTHER BASIS FOR MONEY IN OUR SYSTEM. In my view, too many conservatives and republicans do not understand this basic reality.
Screwing around with the "debt ceiling" and playing chicken with a national default is not the way to fix anything; our entire system of money which is based on government debt and an income tax to pay interest on that debt in perpetuity needs to be fundamentally changed.
