The Absurdity of the Palestinian ‘Right of Return’
The Constitution Club ^ | 05-23-11 | The Rat

THE MATHEMATICS OF A SECOND JEWISH HOLOCAUST?

Palestinians and many of their advocates around the world claim that the “refugees” of 1948 have a “right to return” to Israel, and that such “right” is guaranteed by international law. Nonsense. No such guarantee exists, nor should it.

UN Resolution 194, which is often cited as the basis for this “right of return” is a resolution of the United Nations - nothing less, nothing more. Notwithstanding the fact that UN resolutions aren’t worth the paper on which they’re printed, if said resolution were bound by anything, let alone international law, Israel would have ceased to exist decades ago.

By the way, can you think of another nation that has been forced by international law to voluntarily admit thousands – if not millions – of its enemies into country, who are committed to the destruction of said country? Me neither. It’s time to stop the madness.

Let’s dissect this whole thing a bit, shall we? First of all, the “refugees” were not Israeli citizens in the first place – not did the want to be. Secondly, and most importantly, the admission of several million “refugees” would create an Arab majority in Israel. Hmm, I wonder how that would work out for the Jews? Thirdly, most of those who advocate “Right of Return”for Palestinians also favor abolishing the Israeli Law of Return, which permits Jews to immigrate to Israel freely. Do the math. Get the picture?

The bottom line is this: Israel would no longer be the “national home” of the world’s Jews, and the Jewish population of Israel would lose its majority status – along with its right of self-determination. How has that worked out for the Jews throughout history?

The lies, flip-flops, and pro-Palestinian agenda of Barack Obama must be fought by Israel, and those who support it, every step of the way -as if Israel’s life depends on it. It does.

Something tells me that Bibi Netanyahu is up to the task – after having schooled our naive, arrogant president in the Oval Office last week. America should be so fortunate as to have a strong leader with the courage and moral conviction of Benjamin Netanyahu.

What’s absurd is the notion that even one so-called “Palestinian” exists. There is no such person or people.

I say if Israel is forced to accept its 1967 borders, then we should be forced to accept our July 6, 1898 borders.

And yes, there's a joke in that somewhere. :)

If I read God right in the Old Testiment, Israels right of return would take a huge chunk of the muslim lands that were stolen from the Israelites through was and invastion. God specifically laid out what land he gave them. Hey, people, Israel wants her land back!

Sad that in our country of over 300 million, we can't fine one leader and are stuck with a "Bozo" clown.

When the Jews were liberated from the Death Camps, they went back to their homes only to find their former German neighbors living in them. These families were surprised to see them return because they were supposed to be dead. Now, “Palestinians” want to return to places where Jews have been living and they are surprised to see the Jews living there because they were supposed to be dead from the 1967 Glorious Victory over the Zionists. They should have had a plan to deal with the Ass Kicking the Muslim Armies got.

How about the right of full return?

That’s where the Jews were dispossessed from Egypt, Iran, Iraq, etc. and force out of the Muslim country. Every Jew from 1948 onwards, or their offspring, should also have the right to return to the Muslim country of dispossession and claim ALL property.

The Palis who want to “return” are Arabs who abandoned their homes in cooperation with five invading Arab armies, or their descendants. According to the leaders of those armies, they would be able to return later after the Jews were exterminated and share in the loot.

After the five armies were defeated, the Israelis allowed them to return provided they became Israel citizens. Most refused.

Israel would be insane to let such enemies return and resettle in Israel. They need to cut this off at the knees and simply state that these people and their descendants will NEVER be allowed to return.

The “Palestinian refugees” of 1948 left voluntarily to allow the Israelis to be annihilated by the surrounding Arab armies, figuring they would waltz back in afterward and take the spoils.

Lesson for “Palestinians”: If you throw in your lot with the losing side, you’re SOL.

It’s a rhetorical tool used to derail an unwanted solution.

Th Iraelis advised them at the time not to leave, that they were free to stay. They left voluntarily. Those that chose to stay have enjoyed sixty years of freedom and prosperity in Israel.
