So. It looks like the goons have gotten to Miss Tickly in the same way they got to Dr. Polarik.

In fact, as of now, I suspect that the copy of the long form birth certificate presented on April 27, 2011 is a legally certified copy of a vital record on file with the Hawaii Department of Health – no matter when, where, why or how it was created. As long as the long-form copy proves to be legally certified by the Hawaii Department of Health, it’s self-authenticating according to the rules of evidence. As far as I understand, duplicated pixels, layers and kerning issues cannot undo a legal certification of authenticity. The HDOH has the last say as to legal authenticity, even if the underlying record were to ever be challenged.

I disagree with this. Certainly the presumption is that a certified copy is legitimate. And the presumption, when you get a speeding ticket is that the officer who gave you the ticket was utilizing properly calibrated equipment that he was trained to operate. But you have the right to get him on the witness stand to testify to these facts and then to cross examine his testimony. You also have a right to call as witnesses six unrelated people who were driving with you, because you all were following someone to a restaurant somewhere who will say that you weren't exceeding the speed limit.

I had “assumed” this had already been brought up.

The ‘seal’ on the COLBs from Hawaii has always been suspect. It is a very poor security feature. Most states used an embossed logo that will barely show up in a scan or a copy. The reason is simple - you do not want the seal to show up in a photomechanical or a digital scan. The feature is to prevent easy duplication. ‘Easy’ copying or scanning of such a feature is counter to its normal purpose.

Here are some interesting pages with technical detail:

Anyone ever heard of "The Center for Progressive Training"? If I had to guess it sounds like one of those many Soros-funded made-up entities created by radicals to try to destroy the country.

Maybe check with Beck or Discover the Networks to see if this entity has turned up before.

Miss Tickly you sure did a great job. I know you sacrificed alot of your time. Thank you for going after it until you were done. Thanks for keeping your blog up too. I am sure people will need to refer to it from time to time.

I would like to hear an explanation for the mirror image of the seal raised from the obots.

“Shortly after I sent this email, I received an email through my blog’s former ‘Contact Me’ feature from an individual completely unknown to me. The email was sent from an IP address that traced back to an organization in Atlanta, Georgia, called the “Center for Progressive Training.” I don’t know anything about this organization beyond what you see at the link provided, and it appears at first glance to be an entirely nonpolitical kind of organization. But, the name of this organization struck a chord with me for obvious reasons and in light of the email I received (not to mention the fact that I personally don’t see the connection between the organization’s name and the kind of curriculum the website indicates this ‘school’ offers). [UPDATE: *Poof* ‘The Center for Progressive Training’ website has vanished within 12 hours of posting this.]”

Funny how that domain just vanished.

Maybe she should just go to this link, http://www.bulkregister.com/whois/centerforprogres-com.html , and see if there is some connection to this domain’s owner, who just happens to be living in Georgia. She even has a facebook account.
