The Military is NOT Ready for the DADT Repeal: No matter what the spin...

Kind of long, so I'm just going to post a link to a blog which publishes what claims to be an e-mail exchange between a Navy officer and an official in charge of the repeal training. I have no way to verify the e-mails, but looks pretty plausible to me based on what I've read about the DADT repeal training:

http://minorityrightsadvocate.wordpress.com/2011/05/23/the-military-is-not-ready-for-the-dadt-repeal-no-matter-what-the-spin-they-cannot-address-the-questions-from-the-front-line-leaders-or-front-line-members/

TOPICS: Government; Military/Veterans; Society
KEYWORDS: dadt; homosexualagenda; military; romney
I had to shorten the title of this thread to get it to fit.

Full title is:

The Military is NOT Ready for the DADT Repeal: No matter what the spin. They Cannot Address the Questions from the Front line Leaders or front line members!

Sure they are. The fix is already in. It will go something like this;

1. When arbitrary date is reached, DADT will end.

2. Any problems that arise, legitimate or otherwise, will be suppressed with UCMJ punishments and career crushing reprimands. The numbers will be kept secret, and service members will be prohibited from discussing it further with the media, on pain of more punishments or expulsion. This will be justified as ‘needing to keep good order and discipline during wartime.’

3. Those that adjust will prosper, those that don’t will get forced out.

End of story.

The HIV issue is a big one! This is a major medical cost just waiting to EXPLODE onto the military and the VA system!!!!!!

Understand this, if someone is processed out for contraction of HIV, then it can be considered a “service related medical condition!” Any “service related medical condition” MUST be treated at VA hospitals at no cost to the veteran! Think about those costs! The VA must pay this for the rest of the veteran’s life!! Translation: VA hospitals will quickly become HIV/AIDS sanitariums for all the homosexuals who contracted the disease by engaging in risky sexual experiences! Young men (18-25) who have sex with other men are 60X more likely to contract HIV! So think about it: lots of homosexuals, in peak physical condition, in the primary military age range, housed in close quarters NOW WITH PERMISSION to engage in these acts! I mean, what could go wrong?!? Who can it harm? What can it really cost?

And if you do NOT separate them for this condition, how do you handle the combat issues? Will dog tags now have blood type and HIV condition? Battle field blood transfusions are still a viable means of keeping someone alive - but will the doctors and corpsmen have the “right” to ask if someone is HIV+ before they VOLUNTOLD a soldier with matching blood type?

This is going to force the military to spend as much on medical treatment and prevention of STDs as it pays for combat equipment and training! In very short order this will become a financial NIGHTMARE for the US Military and it will be detrimental to combat effectiveness and capabilities!

Not to mention all the other issues: fewer enlistments, fewer re-enlistments, sexual harassment cases, etc...

good point.
but i actually took the time to read the emails.
and this is the part that totally shocked me.
(i have never heard this before, but a Navy LCDR
quotes this internal report casually...)

I did some review of the DOD study on sexual assault in the military. The data contained there suggests that the notion we have no problems now is FALSE. The study clearly shows a sharp increase in MALE victims of sexual assault. The perpetrators for obvious reasons are almost always male, so that shows there is in fact a problem, and talking to many others serving in various parts of the Navy, anecdotal stories to support this data are not that hard to find.

The DoD study shows a doubling of the male victim percentage in the last 3 years, and with 11% of victims being male, that suggests a real problem, could shared berthing be part of that? – Well it seems quite likely it is at least a factor. If the military population is reflective of the Census data for the entire population, then the rate of male homosexual perpetrators of sexual assault is higher than what is reflected by their portion of the population (2-3% by census figures).

With that data it seems impossible to support the official answer, ...

Here is the list of GOP senators who voted in January 2011 to sodomize the US military:

1. Lisa Murkowski (R - Alaska)
2. Mark Kirk (R - Illinois)
3. Susan Collins (R - Maine)
4. Olympia Snowe (R - Maine)
5. Scott Brown (R - Massachusetts)
6. John Ensign (R - Nevada)
7. Richard Burr (R - North Carolina)
8. George Voinovich (R - Ohio)

Also, Senator-elect Pat Toomey of Pennsylvania stated prior to the vote that he supported sodomizing the US military. A couple of these sick scumbags are already gone, and the rest must be flushed like turds the next time they are up for election.

Mitt Romney was ahead of the curve in stating his goal of homosexualizing the military.

Mitt Romney 1994:"One issue I want to clarify concerns President Clinton’s “don’t ask, don’t tell, don’t pursue” military policy. I believe that the Clinton compromise was a step in the right direction. I am also convinced that it is the first of a number of steps that will ultimately lead to gays and lesbians being able to serve openly and honestly in our nation’s military. That goal will only be reached when preventing discrimination against gays and lesbians is a mainstream concern, which is a goal we share."

Thank you for that informative information. Anyone who supports this sick behavior of sodomy will not get my vote, same thing with abortion. I don’t believe most of Mitt’s supporters know much about his stance in this area as in recent years his quotes have been along the lines of keeping the military DADT policy as the status quo.

It’s no secret. The reports are in the public domain.
