One of the most interesting results from the 2010 census, little discussed by the media, was the large scale movement of African Americans over the past 10 years from Democrat controlled cities in the northern United States including Chicago, Cleveland, Detroit, and New York to the more conservative south. In an historic reversal of the 20th century migration that brought millions north in search of economic opportunity, African American families are abandoning the failed liberal communities in which they have lived for decades.
Over the past 50 years predominantly black neighborhoods throughout the north have been treated by Democratic Party as socialist proving grounds. While under single party rule, traditional American virtues like self reliance, family, and education were abandoned in favor of liberal ideology that promoted victimhood and welfare. Not unexpectedly the socialist experiment worked about as well for the black community as it did for the Soviet Union. Instead of the utopian dream, the only thing many African Americans received in return for their loyalty to the Democratic Party was drug and violence filled streets and social devastation.
Democrat politicians’ commitment to minorities turned out to be nothing more than fleeting campaign talk as most turned a blind eye to widespread corruption and government mismanagement which plagued black communities...
Democrats care more about protecting bloated public employee pensions than they do about making sure kids in their district learn how to read. While public employees are demonstrating to save their Viagra benefits and $100,000 a year for life retirement packages, it was recently measured in Detroit, the once proud symbol of American industrial might before the Democratic Party ruined it all, that 47% of the population is functionally illiterate including former Detroit School Board President Otis Mathis.

As I was growing up, the w/b ratio was 60/40.
Now it has reversed to 40/60, and they have taken over
all of the government, destroying the city as I knew it.
It is also now number one in the USA for murder.
Any place governed by total Democrat party control inevitably degrades into gated communities and vast wastelands of urban squalor.
The libs whined in the 60’s and 70’s about “white flight” to the suburbs which was just a practical and predicitable outcome of their ridiculous education policies.
Now since they ruined the schools even more than any human can believe or imagine or haven’t rioted by now since then they are whining about “black flight”.
Poor liberals. No wonder they need millions of hispanics illegally coming into the US...they are running out of victims to parasitically suck off to live. And in 20 years we’ll hear of “latino flight” from their failed utopias.
They’ll be forced to try and ship their next food supply from China or India after that. They’ll demand we spend millions shipping them here “to get a better life”.
Then the Borg will come and attack and the libs will want to give them welfare and medical benefits.
Unfortunately, they and their white counterparts are coming down here and still voting Democrat. They're going to kill the goose that laid the golden egg, if they don't wise up.
I hope this is not offensive to Black people but why don’t they stay there and fix the problem if they know what it is? If it’s the Liberal Left in power, change to the other party and vote the bastards out. Or is it that they helped run down the system by over using it, and now that it’s going broke, move south and do it down there? I don’t get it. They must be a giant voting block.

Unfortunately true. Dims never take responsibility for failure, and others’ success is always just “luck”. They move away from bad employment, bad education, and wasteful spending — then demand the same failed policies from their elected officials in their new locale.
It is always somebody else’s fault, or something that “just happened”, with no correlation to the policies they support. It is the most maddening thing about Dims.
That's exactly what is happening. Ex: Atlanta was a great place to live in the late 70's to early 80's.
Same thing happened before.
Blacks left their tar-paper shacks in the south to "seek sanctuary and economic opportunity" in places like Detroit and Chicago.
When blacks started moving there in large numbers, those cities were the envy of the industrial world, with a business-friendly environment and an industrious population with strong family values.

More people died in these floods then from Katrina...how come the media doesn’t report that?!!!!! There must be one hell of a big difference between the value of the people of Iowa and value of the people of Louisiana .
There are vast urban wastelands that one would be hard pressed to find a Mexican or Negro in the county.
It is a political thing, not a race thing with the Democrat party. They have their less than white peoples quite isolated and under control. Or they just let them kill whatever presents and can them after the fact.
The klan never expected such a control mechanism to manifest. They simply used violence, a factor that alienates the power structure. Today, the minorities under the thumb of the man religiously support them politically. And they will kick the spit out of you if you try to convince otherwise.
