With Mike Huckabee out of the race for the 2012 GOP presidential nomination, three known politicians, Mitt Romney, Sarah Palin, and Newt Gingrich emerge as leaders in Republicans' preferences...
Palin's support is more intense. A higher percentage of Republicans have strongly favorable opinions than is the case for the other two, giving her a slightly higher overall Positive Intensity Score despite her higher strongly unfavorable percentage.
Gingrich and Romney have similar Positive Intensity Scores.
...There is no clear front-runner in the race for the 2012 Republican nomination. Palin, who has given no indication of whether she will run for the nomination, has very high name identification, is the top of Republicans' nomination preferences, and HAS A HIGHER POSITIVE INTENSITY SCORE THAN ANY OTHER WELL-KNOW CANDIDATE. Palin thus must be considered one of the GOP leaders at this point. Romney and Gingrich are also well-known. Of the two, Romney is slightly better positioned at this point due to his higher ranking in Gallup's trial heats.

Ya think? Of course she is.
I hope Palin decides NOT to run.
I think she is best served by traveling around the country and speaking out on behalf of various conservative candidates for office.
Palin does her best at these kinds of rallies.
Palin can sure fire up a crowd of conservatives.
You mean the obamedia has been lying to us for the last year???
Pray for America
Sarah’s prettier, too
Palin fires up conservatives because they hope she’ll run on 2012. What good is it to have her running around firing people up if she doesn’t run for office?
Gingrich or Romney are not going to have the crowd fired up - even with Palin trying her level best.
Must have been REALLY painful for Gallup to write that.
