I just bought a gallon of milk at Aldi’s for $1.78. I’m in the Chicago suburbs.

I paid $4.99 for 1/2 gallon, but that's because it's Horizon. I don't give a crap that it's "organic," just that it tastes really, really good.

Some of the Super Targets in the Minneapolis suburbs have for $3.99 or $4.39 or so, half gallons of milk from cows which are exclusively grass-fed.

You can taste the difference, but we can no longer afford it.
