The debt limit will merely be ignored. The treasury will sell a new product, tax anticipation debentures with the full faith and credit of the US Treasury directly to the Federal Reserve.

Republicans should make tomorrow a historic day with the message that finally big government liberals like Obama have had their time literally run out. No longer can we allow the Democrats to bribe the American people with their own tax dollars in their bid for increased political power. Today we have reached the limit and we will not be passing on unchecked debt to our children and theirs. Together we will make the hard choices to reform Social Security and Medicare as well as turn back the clock on the unsustainable entitlement called Obamacare. Today is the beginning of the end of the bankrupting of America.

There is one small problem. Republicans are the minority party and lack the power to end the bribing. Words without power are so much blather.
Wish I shared your optimism, but I suspect the problem will continue with band aids for a while longer. There are too many in power in the Senate/WH to realistically think otherwise.
So, it will be a moderate tourniquet for now to slow the bleeding, with the possibility of scheduling corrective surgery in 2012 and 2014.

That prescription is obviously written by a wise Tea Party Patriot (private practice) physician rather than a sole source (government) provider. Let’s hope the patient can be sustained on life support until the medicine has a chance to take effect!

On today’s broadcast of The Coral Ridge Ministries TV program they showed the first of three excerpts of a DVD which details the Communist/Socialist blueprint for taking down the United States. The remaining two excerpts will be shown in the next two Sundays’ programs.
The title of the DVD is: “AGENDA” with the sub-title: “Grinding America Down.” It is VERY sinister, and they have made great strides toward achieving their destructive goals; with BHO now in the vanguard.

Worse than that; when the Republicans DID have both houses and the White House they pizzed money away at least as bad as, or worse than ANY Democrat. So what would they REALLY do if they ever got that much control again? Without someone like Sarah Palin in the White House it would probably be MORE OF THE SAME!

The Fed will have printed about $1.8 trillion from the end of 2008 to the end of June, 2011 - partly to finance staggering federal government deficits of nearly $4.5 trillion over the three years. So the Fed's actions are undermining the dollar precisely because that's what the White House wants. |
