I don’t care how qualified, I could never vote for someone named “T-Paw.” Sorry, but that’ the worst political name in history. I’d rather vote for “Gutsball” or “Panoramic View.”

T-Paw. Cripes.

All the RINOs are irrelevant.

It belongs to Sarah.

And since it belongs to her, she can take her time.

ineluctable

Sarah’s biggest obstacle will be the MSM/DNC working with the RNC to lock her out. And the fact that almost all Jews, Blacks, and other minorities are terrified of her for some inexplicable reason.

I say, “Drill Baby Drill!”

I have no problem with Sarah Palin, but some of your dismissal of the other candidates is simply flawed.

“National polls” mean nothing at this point. In fact, few polls mean anything at this point but nothing at all matters today except the voters in the first couple of states: Iowa, NH and SC. And Cain for instance, who will be attractive to many folks who also like Palin, is polling very well in those polls.

I agree Huck dropping out helps Palin, since Huck voters probably like Palin too - but your analysis needs some tweaking IMHO.

Great article, but the Gelded Old Party will nominate Willard next year and basically tell conservatives to stuff it. Then we’ll be ordered to get behind Romney or else (”Whatcha gonna do, vote 3rd Party?”). A repeat of 2008.

11. Sadly, when she becomes the nominee, she will lose so badly that it will make Goldwater’s results look almost close.

2)Lack of a viable stalking-horse on the right. Whatever you think of Bachmann and Cain, they are dark horses polling at most 5% of the national vote while Palin constantly polls in the first tier. With Huckabee's departure, I expect Palin's momentum to surge and whatever increase in support they had to fall by the wayside. Why? Because the base of the GOP will come to realize neither MB or Cain can win. They will eventually go with the winner and that is Sarah Palin, if you are a conservative

If Palin doesn't run, however, Cain will probably get 70% of her support.

A huge obstacle in Sarah Palin's pathway to the GOP nomination and ultimately to the presidency was removed last night with Mike Huckabee's announcement that he was not running in 2012.

Agreed.

2)Lack of a viable stalking-horse on the right. Whatever you think of Bachmann and Cain, they are dark horses polling at most 5% of the national vote while Palin constantly polls in the first tier.

The media could start displaying Bachmann and/or Cain prominently, splitting the conservative vote.

6)Rasmussen found on March 29, 2011 that 9 out of 10 conservative voters are ANGRY; Sarah Palin is well qualified to play to that anger and stoke it even further. Can we say that about Mitt or T-Paw?

Trojan/Stalking Horse Trump with his F-bomb, anti China and anti OPEC rhetoric, if he enters the race, would split off some ANGRY voters. Doesn't seem to matter that he oddly makes no criticism of big government power and spending. Some people are so ANGRY, they don't realize that Trump hasn't been, and still isn't now, conservative.

Just pointing out a few potential problems. They will throw other conservatives, angry blow-hards with bad hair and the kitchen sink at Palin.

You should count on it.

Agreed.

Huckabee was the one guy who might have succeeded in deflecting some of the Evangelical vote away from Sarah, as he succeeded in doing from Fred in the 2008 primaries. He sent out millions of phone messages in the southern states falsely claiming that Fred was pro-abortion, and that was the clincher for getting Fred out of the race, so McCain could come in with help from his Florida pal.

IMHO, the Huckster is a fake religious figure, but he has managed to keep some credibility with the religious right despite his many flaws and failings. So this is good news, indeed. No one else currently in contention would have his influence with that constituency.

Of course, he might still suddenly stand up and endorse someone else, but I don’t think that would have the same effect as pretending to run himself.

Let's see. Then the campaigning for Trump begins in sincerity, after another big chunk of the middle class falls from its debt-supported employment and enchantment for globalism.

Facts about Sarah Palin (my title)

"2 - Now with the CBC gone, there were fewer Alaskan politicians to protect the huge, giant oil companies here. So, she constructed and enacted a new system of splitting the oil profits called "ACES". Exxon (the biggest corporation in the world) protested and Sarah told them "don't let the door hit you in the stern on your way out." They stayed, and Alaska residents went from being merely wealthy to being filthy rich. Of course the other huge international oil companies meekly fell in line. Again, give me the name of any other governor in the country that has done anything similar."

TRANSCRIPT: Sarah Palin's RNC Speech
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2074322/posts

This was the spirit that brought me to the governor’s office when I took on the old politics as usual in Juneau, when I stood up to the special interests, and the lobbyists, and the Big Oil companies, and the good-old boys...When oil and gas prices went up dramatically and filled up the state treasury, I sent a large share of that revenue back where it belonged: directly to the people of Alaska. And despite fierce opposition from oil company lobbyists, who kind of liked things the way that they were, we broke their monopoly on power and resources. As governor, I insisted on competition and basic fairness to end their control of our state and return it to the people.

To show you how dangerous Sarah Palin is to upsetting the RINO applecart, after polling over 70% in a poll by US election news to the question of who stands to benefit the most from Huckabee’s announcement, the pollster unceremoniously removes Palin’s name from the choices given and claims they are doing so because too many supporters of Sarah Palin have responded to the poll and voted for her.

Yes, Virginia, Sarah Palin is indeed in the catbird seat and she will soon get off her chair. I know the anti-Palin forces on both the Left and the Right can hardly wait. /sarc

This is ridiculous! Sarah Palin couldn’t possibly benefit because Mike Wallace didn’t mention her as possibly benefiting when he was on Fox and Friends this morning. If the oracle didn’t mention her, what chance does she have? /sarc

8)Gallup this week found Sarah Palin has the highest favorables among the GOP contenders based on matching up recognition and favorables/unfavorables at 71%. Huck was 2nd before he decided not to run.

Before I make a comment, I have been a Palin supporter and should she run, will continue to support her.

However, I believe the Socialist have done a number on her these two years and accomplished their goal. Gov. Palin like Gov. Huckabee has found a high economically advantageous niche where she is comfortable, can have her voice heard and is establishing financial security for her family.

The Socialists failed to destroy her personally but they did manage to destroy her threat as a politician and her political career.

IMHO, Gov. Palin will not run and her supporters will just shake their heads, bitch that they have to hold their nose and vote for some RINO and go back to watching DWT and/or AI instead of getting out and doing everything possible to bring down the Obama cabal.

If each conservative just flipped one Socialist in the next 17 months then we will be on the road to recovery. I personally am working on 4 and am confident I'll "break" at least one by election time.
