Some media commentary on Sarah Palin continues to amuse me quite a bit.
There are those who love to talk about how irrelevant she is usually in the midst of a lengthy blog post or column that obsesses about something Palin recently said or tweeted.
There are those who continue to distort her record, despite the surplus her policies afforded Alaska and a list of accomplishments that includes substantial spending reductions, incentivizing and expanding drilling for oil and natural gas, investing in state savings, and a commitment to transparency, ethics reform, and tackling corruption.
And there are an array of tell-all books soon to come out that will attempt to discredit both her character and her record. They will try their hardest to reinforce pre-existing media-fed hype about who Palin is, what kind of a leader she was as governor, and what kind of a leader she could be for America. Some of the authors are ideologically driven. Others are driven by the hope that having the words Sarah Palin in their books titles will put money in their pockets.
I also saw a glimpse of the woman who terrifies some when I met her in person at the Long Island Associations February 2011 Annual Meeting and Luncheon. Theres absolutely nothing about her from the way she greets you to the tone of her exchanges that fits into the mold of conventional politician. I suppose that must be terribly frustrating to those who struggle so hard to stand out, but dont
because when it comes down to it, theyre not all that different from the rest.

Love that picture. Absolutely LOVE it.
Nah, that would be their rallying cry.
Sarah Palin plagarizes our martyred Saint John! Buuurrrnnnn her!
Exactly. That was put very succinctly.
A gorgeous and capable woman for president and a handsome and likeable Todd for First Dude.
Sounds like a winner!
Ummm.... The force is strong with this one, lead she shall.
Umm.... The darkside will need undergarments to contain their fear...
Only if she dared try to pass it off as her own phrase. If she channeled St. John and reminded the populace that we need to return to the days of individual responsibility and the days of reaching for the heavens rather than holding our hands out for gubmint crumbs, she’d be drawing an unmistakable distinction between herself and Zero and would crush his socialist ass. I believe she’d be able to incorporate that theme into a speech far better than I could ever do in this forum (or any other).
Sit back on your heels and wait, Sarah. Let them all come out and flail about. I am for YOU and always will be. And I will wait if need be. All the rest pale in comparison.

"K Street" doesn't get us, the Tea Parties, and by extension us ( FR ) and Sarah and that we want them out of our lives, they are all pigs at the trough.
I have been posing the question here a long time, in terms of throwing the bums out will the Tea Parties try to throw "K Street" bums out in 2012 ?
LOL.....
You’re crazy good.
Thx Gator, not everyone here gets my humor ;-)....
Go, Sarah, Go!
Almost nicely done!
“Never saw that pic. Just WOW!”
The Dick Chenny look in a black sheath dress.
Accountability.
And to see the debates. I think anyone who underestimates her is going to see a thing or two. On Energy Policy she can talk for hours as an expert. She has an uncanny knack for a turn of a phrase - “palling around with terrorists”, “death-panels”, etc.
If you want to see a stunning photo, go the the TownHall.com site where they are doing some sort of poll...it is also just WOW!
