Click the link to watch for as long as you can, Al Franken's pathetic attempt at humor as he mocks the Gospel. I'm not even a Christian and I'm offended. Minnesota FReepers, can he be recalled ? (If you can't sit through the whole thing, FF to the end to see that this disgusting cartoon came from Franken's book.)

If you'll note, you can't leave comments on this one post. Hmmmm....I wonder why ?
Only the Senate can kick him out.
Once again, the Left is in a battle to co-opt Christianity for its own purposes.
Oh yeah, Franken is just a fool and the folks that voted for him are too. May God save that state from the fools.
Ping!
Take a few momments and watch what Al Franken considers “humor”. Even if you’re not a Christian, this is out and out hate and you have to wonder why Norm Coleman didn’t make an issue of this in 2008.
Imagine if a Republican made these remarks about Mohammed in a book he wrote....
IIRC, Coleman did a mailing which had quotes from Franken’s writings and was shredded for potentially exposing children, who may have looked at the family’s mail,to foul language.
It is not charitable or Christ-like to confiscate other people's wealth under threat of imprisonment, and then dole out a portion of those gains to people deemed worthy by the thieves.
Al Franken, like supply-siders, marxists, hippies, saints, jockeys, bowlers, talk-show hosts and senators are all perfectly free to act charitably by voluntarily giving a generous portion of their own wealth to the poor.
Giving away other people's money is not noble in anyway.
I think it's a disgrace that this wasn't brought up during the campaign in ‘08 or by anyone else for that matter. This is absolute hate. I don't believe in censorship, but with Free Speech, there is the unspoken responsibility to not be a jerk, especially while making comments about the religion of the grand majority of the country.
We need to make an issue of this somehow. As distasteful as it is for me to say: O’Reilly ? We need the people of Minnesota to see what they've elected.
So Coleman was the villian while that disgusting toad Franken was the “hero” ?
*sigh*
Still, I think an issue needs to be made of this. Imagine if Marco Rubio was found making Mohammed or Islam.....
I just thought of that. I was so angry after I saw this video, I could barely think straight.
I’m Jewish. I lost a lot of family in the Holocaust. (Franken is too, I believe.) That was the same type of rhetoric the Nazis used. You would think he would know better....
He should be held accountable for this. He should be embarrassed, as should Moveon.org. Franken should be forced by public pressure to explain his attitude toward Christianity.
Al Franken is God mocking us.
Check out Jim Wallis’ Sojourners or Simon Greer’s Jewish Funds for Justice. Creepy as hell, to say the least.
:)
Can I use that ?
Jesus wanted you to give your coat to the poor, not someone else’s.
A great caption for this photo:
Look, it’s 500+ pounds of wasted skin and DNA!
I can never figure out why people are suprised by the Holder’s and Franken’s of this world. Holder places “his people” first; Franken is not a Christian and thus has no qualms about denigrating the religion. Christianity is errent nonsense to Franken. The only criticism that can be levelled about him regarding his attitude towards Christianity is his failure to consider the sensibilities of his Christian neighbors. He is a loud mouthed fool that is not garnering any friends among the Christian community.
For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
1 Cor 1:18
Let me ask you this: (Non confrontational)
What if a Conservative made a cartoon about Muslims ? Illegal Aliens ? AIDS ? He’d be flayed alive.
He should be held accountable in the court of public opinion, just like Moveon.org should be. It can’t always be this one sided fight where Conservatives and Christians are punching bags. Like I said, I’m not even a Christian and I’m deeply offended by this.
I would add that what we call “poor” would have been viewed as unspeakably rich (and morally corrupt in most cases) in Christ’s day.
