Google Inc.s Dont Be Evil slogan is seductive but misleading. It is the lowest business ethics standard ever devised, excusing everything Google does short of evil. Google isnt evil but neither is it ethical.
While perceptions of the worlds erstwhile No. 1 brand remain exceptionally strong, Googles ethical blind spots regarding privacy and property rights are beginning to erode the publics trust and eventually could threaten the companys market domination. Anyone who follows Google closely knows that the company is a serial scandal machine. One of the worlds most powerful companies, with its vainglorious mission to organize the worlds information, has proved itself to be unethical, shockingly political and untrustworthy.
Cleland gives some examples of how Google has violated privacy rights:

I have google search, however, it is attached to my firefox. It states “Mozilla Firefox Start Page”.
Seems I can’t remove it without removing Firefox. Any suggestions?? (total computer a$$ here)! =)

Change your homepage.
For me,(I also use firefox) changing my homepage is under Edit.
Edit > Preferences > General tab
Actually, there’s an easier way to change your home page.

Like what halfman posted. I prefer Bing because those homepage pictures are really relaxing to look at.
