Isn’t it more likely that should be “tens of Wisconsin residents” rather than “thousands?”
Still, doing that takes guts. Typical cop is not unlikely to shoot first and ask for an explanation later.
Too many civillian targets and witnesses present.

Well, that would be only one tenth of one percent of people in Wisconsin. In a lot of states, 1-2 percent of the population have concealed carry permits. Wisconsin does not allow for concealed carry permits, so it is not hard to believe that one tenth to one twentieth of those who would go to some trouble to get a permit might carry daily in Wisconsin.
Now, sue Madison PD for civil damages.
If it were thousands it would be something you would see every day.
The right to carry is important enough that the arguments should not have to rely on exaggerations.
Sue under the concept of a violation of federal civil/constitutional rights - 2nd Amendment, even 1st Amendment, 4th Amendment as well.
Hell, throw the Constitution at these leftist bastards and sue them all. Who knows - you might win.

Only if you are out walking around in the woods or on farms like they are. In most rural areas up north people carry sidearms as protection against bears and other wild animals. No need to carry concealed, since the deer don't care if you are armed or not, and in many cases you have little need to carry a firearm around other people due to the very low crime rates.
Here in AZ millions of lawful residents are allowed to carry, concealed, or openly, without a permit.
OTOH, here in AZ, the federal government facilitated drug cartel members to buy guns, and then murder people,
The real question here is...who is the pencil-neck liberal who got his shorts all twisted out of shape that he had to call the police in the first place. That is the guy who is the most dangerous in our society running around claiming that loaded guns are invading our restaurants...Chicken Little style. This moon-beam obviously was prematurely cut off from breast-feeding by his mommy!
Yeah, but even the Liberal morons who run Madison will have trouble explaining the constant drain of cash for these kinds of egregious actions on the part of the cops to their citizens. Sooner or later the Chief is going to get his walking papers if he doesn’t stop the harassment lawsuits agains the “city.” Here’s hoping that Madison has to pay out a bundle on the Federal claim. I don’t feel the least bit sorry for Madison, or Berkeley, or Boulder, and any other of a long list of “university towns.”
There should be a flood of gun owners in that restaurant to celebrate this weekend.
