So, let me get this straight, it’s okay to show the Zapruder film of the assassination of US President John F. Kennedy, but not to make public the still photos of dead dirt bag Osama bin Laden? The number of ways this is outrageously stupid approaches infinity. Whose feelings are we protecting? Certainly not the feelings of American citizens who have been exposed to violence in the media repeatedly in the past 20 years.
Americans have been subjected to videos of fellow citizens flinging themselves to certain death from the top floors of New York’s Twin Towers, videos of the gaping, deadly wound in the side of the USS Cole, the remains of bombed US embassies strewn with victims in Africa and the beheading video of US journalist Daniel Pearl. We have shown our resilience time and again and the sugar coating just gets in the way.

These terrorists dont seem to have any qualms about videotaping and posting beheading and cold blooded executions of innocents. I believe no matter how gruesome the pics have to be released to show those scum bags about the gory end that awaits them... A very wise man who was crucified said “One who raises the sword, dies by the sword”
The picture should not only be releaseed. It should be placed on flyers saying, “He chose war. If you choose war, this will happen to you.” Two million of those flyers should be dropped in Afghanistan and one million should be dropped in Gaza and one million should be dropped on the West Bank.
This is an excellent point and one I wish I had made when I wrote this last night.
The point is that if American citizens have been subjected to the Zapruder film, then not releasing bin Laden’s still photos will not bother us. Therefore, they are not being withheld because of us, but because of bin Laden’s followers.
I don’t know if you read the entire blog or not, but that point becomes more clear if you do. I believe the five paragraphs that follow this excerpt make it much more clear.
Bottom line: This country has become too feminized.
When the WTC attack occurred, most of the channels electronically scrubbed the people jumping to their death from the WTC. I watched a channel that did no scrubbing and it was for more horrific than you can possibly believe, but the elites decided we could not take the shock to our gentle sensibilities.
Which is why I don’t care one bit how he died, armed or not armed. The only thing that counts is that we shot him in the head and killed this wolf.

The Abu Graib photos were the first thing I thought of.
