So, let me get this straight, it’s okay to show the Zapruder film of the assassination of US President John F. Kennedy, but not to make public the still photos of dead dirt bag Osama bin Laden? The number of ways this is outrageously stupid approaches infinity. Whose feelings are we protecting? Certainly not the feelings of American citizens who have been exposed to violence in the media repeatedly in the past 20 years.
Americans have been subjected to videos of fellow citizens flinging themselves to certain death from the top floors of New York’s Twin Towers, videos of the gaping, deadly wound in the side of the USS Cole, the remains of bombed US embassies strewn with victims in Africa and the beheading video of US journalist Daniel Pearl. We have shown our resilience time and again and the sugar coating just gets in the way.

Showing UBL dead could be used as propaganda yet BHO going to lay a wreath at ground zero today for a gloating photo op is not propaganda.
The Zapruder film was suppressed for years. While we’ve seen video of the Twin Towers falling, the sight of people plunging to their deaths is rarely - if ever - shown. We have never seen photos or film of Diana in the tunnel after the car accident. So I’m not at all surprised this is being suppressed.
If in fact we killed him, I have no doubt that we will see the pictures, exactly one week before the 2012 election, so that he can portray the doubters as kooks and tie them to the GOP. As of now, count me among the doubters.

Senseless comparison. The Zapruder film wasn’t government property.
Although acquired by the government in 1999, before that it was the property of first Mr Zapruder, then LIFE magazine. Life did their best to keep it under wraps, sharing it only with the government commissions and agencies investigating the assassination. It didn’t get out to the public until the creeps Mark Lane and Jim Garrison illegally copied the film from the Jim Garrison grand jury evidence, and circulated the film. And once it was out, it was out.
Remember we must not anger the future global leadership lest we find our families beheaded.

I doubt the pictures will be definitive. I recall some saying that the pictures of Uday and Qusay weren’t the same two guys — I thought they were but I was nowhere near certain — I couldn’t say that someone who didn’t think they were the same two guys was wrong.

I have seen a photo of Diana in the twisted wreckage. It was available on line. Not sure if it’s still around but it was for a number of years.
The whole thing doesn't project Obama's image around the world.

The only reason I can see for this mess is that it keeps everyone’s eye OFF THE BALL. That ‘ball’ being any discussion of this Anti-American Presidency and its Anti-Amereican policies and actions.
The USA of 1963 was a lot different from the chickified (to use Rush’s term) USA of 2011.
Apparently you could look at a dead body in 1963 without screaming off into the night (or even decide not to look).

The pictures will never convince the paranoid kooks, but most of us would like to know that he has actually been kiiled in this operation, and not killed or dead for years, as Rush has implied in the past.
If Osama was indeed killed in the operation, I don’t want Obama using the same delaying tactic he used with his birth certificate, in order to paint his critics as kooks. Maybe the Donald can make him release them.
I doubt I'd have the same reaction with the muslim monster.
