Give the story some time to develop. There's no indication that we shot kids there, one woman was shot in the leg when she got in the line of fire, and speculating further that we're whacking entire families is reckless.

The specific team used is not under military command. They are under executive command and do not have to abide by military rules of engagement.
I am not saying the rules of engagement for our troops is right. I agree with you that it is getting our brave men and women killed. However, this team has a special designation that exempts them from all of that.
Don't forget that Obama prosecuted three SEAL team members for allegedy punching a terrorist they were sent to abduct.
Proper protocol for taking down someone believed to be wearing a suicide vest is to shoot them in the head. Remember the SAS guy in London who shot the Brazilian who was running from him?
Unless Obama wants to be a one-termer, it's going nowhere. He'll lose the state of New York and every swing state in the country. He'll be lucky to carry Maryland.
Why do that, when he can pretend he's the hero champion ultimate king badass of the 21st century and wear that stolen valor like a crown on his unworthy head? Why turn the biggest victory of his miserable administration into the engine of his own defeat?

Doesn't it make sense that everyone who entered his secret lair was prepared to meet their maker, if the smallest thing had twitched? Do you really think those commandos had the luxury of analyzing everything that went down, in a stop-motion, frame-by-frame analysis before they committed to squeezing their triggers?
It also tends to be pretty dark inside most houses in the middle of the night. That might have had a wee bit to do with the outcome, as well.

I find it particularly rich that the United Nations High Bitch for Human Rights is asking questions about how this went down. It will be up to Obama to tell her to go to hell (politely of course), and that will further endear him to his base in such locales as Cambridge, Provincetown, Northampton, and San Francisco.
