So, there we were on Sunday night pondering the emerging dictatorship under which America has been languishing since Barack Obama invaded the White House, when out of the wake of a suddenly appearing “birth certificate,” a suddenly dead Osama bin Laden appears—uh—well, a dead Osama didn’t actually appear, because apparently the top secret mission during which he was reportedly killed in Pakistan also saw him reportedly immediately buried at sea. Bin Laden immediately buried at Sea? You’re kidding, right?
I scoured the news stories and found this explanation,
“A U.S. official says Osama bin Laden has been buried at sea.
After bin Laden was killed in a raid by U.S. forces in Pakistan, senior administration officials said the body would be handled according to Islamic practice and tradition. That practice calls for the body to be buried within 24 hours, the official said. Finding a country willing to accept the remains of the world's most wanted terrorist would have been difficult, the official said. So the U.S. decided to bury him at sea.
The official, who spoke Monday on condition of anonymity to discuss sensitive national security matters, did not immediately say where that occurred.”
Well, isn’t that terribly convenient? Two things here. First, the obvious: This buried-at-sea claim is the very stuff of which conspiracy theories are made. As of this writing, I have yet to see any photographic or video evidence that bin Laden was just killed. Of course, as smooth as the Obama administration is at releasing previously missing “birth certificates,” maybe by the time this column is published, there will be pictures.
It is being reporting that the White House is considering whether or not to release photographs of his body. They probably will, since there is widespread skepticism due to the strange reported handling of his corpse.
Second, before my head explodes in anger, what the heck are we doing handling the body “according to Islamic tradition”?! This is outrageous! His body should not be treated any better than those Muslim barbarians treated the bodies of 3000 Americans on September 11, 2001!
The Obama administration is also claiming they didn’t want a Muslim shrine to his body. It really makes no sense that this administration would object to a shrine to bin Laden anywhere in the Middle East, since the same administration has no problem whatsoever with a Muslim victory shrine mosque being built a mere two blocks from the site of Ground Zero in New York!
I still have no idea why it has taken this long to kill or capture bin Laden, but if he is finally, really dead, great! He was never going to come to a good end, no matter what. He lived by the sword; he was destined to die by it, as well.
Some people are pointing out the strange timing of this event. It came right after Obama suddenly decided to release the elusive “birth certificate,” which has done nothing except raise more questions than we already had.
Sunday night, Obama rushed to put out a statement taking credit for the kill, but the credit goes entirely to the U.S. Military, not that charlatan in the White House. Obama is probably just hoping for a boost in his dismal approval ratings. Well, I have news for Obama. His ratings will only be boosted among his unthinking fanatics. The rest of us are not going to be distracted by bogus-looking online birth documents or convenient kills of most-wanted terrorists. The reality for most of America is what this man and his administration are doing to our country.
We will not be distracted from the fact that Obama and his fellow traveling goons are destroying the dollar, killing our health care system, shredding the Constitution, allowing the illegal alien invasion of our nation to continue unchecked, preventing us from drilling for our own oil, polluting our schools with homosexual perversion indoctrination, hanging marriage out to dry, gutting our national defense, and forcing the radical homosexual agenda on our troops. And, that’s just what Obama did before breakfast! I could go on and on!
The important thing is to keep our eyes on the ball, to stay on top of our elected officials—especially any true conservatives in Congress—to encourage them to work fervently to stop and reverse the policies of this anti-American administration. I know there may be a temptation to look at the multiple fronts of assault against our nation by the Marxists in our government and want to throw up our hands, but we must not do it.
Of course it is depressing to see what these evil people are doing to our great country, and it’s even more disheartening to see the lack of any rock-solid conservative presidential candidates for 2012. But, we must not stop fighting the fight to stop America from crashing into the communist abyss over which we are poised. We have certainly waited too long to awaken to the communist threat that began invading our country early in the last century. It will be very difficult to reverse the damage that has been done to all our institutions, but we must continue to try.
I am proud of our military for taking out the evil Osama bin Laden. This does not end our fight against the Islamists, of course, but it certainly brings some much-needed worldly justice to the reported 9-11 mastermind.
It’s not just the anti-American communist element that has wormed its way into the foundation of our nation; the Islamists have done so, too. On the Thomas More Law Center’s website, the following was published on Monday,
“Last night, while Americans were preparing for bed or already asleep, President Obama announced that American forces had killed Osama bin Laden in a daring nighttime raid on his compound in Pakistan. In the ensuing days, more information will be revealed about the raid. However, a few points are already clear:
Justice was done for his dastardly attack on American soil that killed thousands of Americans on 9/11.
This successful operation was accomplished by American intelligence and military forces.
The operation was as a result of interrogations and planning that began during the Bush administration.
The war against the internal and international threat of radical Islam is far from over.
Richard Thompson, President and Chief Counsel of the Thomas More Law Center, had this comment about last night’s daring and dangerous raid: ‘Bin Laden’s death last night should be a reminder to all Americans of the source of their safety as explained by George Orwell, ‘We sleep safely in our beds because rough men stand ready in the night to visit violence on those who would harm us.’’
Continued Thompson, ‘The Muslim Brotherhood, already within our gates, knows it can never defeat America militarily, and so it continues its operations to destroy us by seeking to subvert every major institution of our society, including our government, law enforcement, military and educational institutions. Moreover, we must continue to pray for and support our Armed Forces who are defending us in faraway lands.’”
Amen to that.
I realize it is not easy staying focused on exposing and fighting the misdeads of those in Washington and in our state and local governments, while also trying to expose and stop all the other enemies within—from the leftist, moral deviants to the Muslim jihad plotters. We all have very busy lives, and we do get weary fighting the seemingly endless number of termites in the woodwork that seek to overthrow our constitutional republic, but please don’t check out. The battle has only just begun.
Congratulations to our military men who took out that chunk of Muslim worm dirt, Osama bin Laden. May God bless our troops!

The fact is that the body should NEVER HAVE BEEN GIVEN A MUSLIM SENDOFF BY US.
The body should have been took somewhere where a pool of reporters would come in especially Al Jazeera and then be shown around the world.

It’s not simply that he should be treated differently from those he and his minions butchered, it’s our deference to his phony religion! What does such treatment say about our own national “tradition,” which happens to be Christian? I just don’t get it, and I don’t get it on any number of levels: Is it our intention to honor OBL with the burial he & his ilk require? Are we trying to assure that OBL’s virgins are waiting? Are we publicly acknowledging that Islam is an acceptable, rational life-style choice (like homosexuality)?
Mark Steyn recently cited British Gen. Napier’s reaction to the Indian custom of suttee: “You say that it is your custom to burn widows. Very well. We also have a custom: when men burn a woman alive, we tie a rope around their necks and we hang them. Build your funeral pyre; beside it, my carpenters will build a gallows. You may follow your custom. And then we will follow ours.”
Where are our customs today? If we’re “exceptional” and confident in our greatness as indeed were the Brits throughout their empire, where is the evidence? Or is succumbing to every fluke/false/baseless behavior what now qualifies as “exceptional”?
After reading the comment at the link, and considering its source, I’ll say what I said anyway.
That was my point in the column. How dare our government cater to their backward, false religion?! It is outrageous, as I wrote.
And a great column it is! Few have said what you dared to say. I suppose I was seeing it from a different angle—not so much as how it bowed to political correctness (which is beyond reprehensible), but how the treatment spoke of our own opinion of ourselves. How convinced, if at all, are we of our own superiority? And don’t we need that certainty to proceed in a war of cultures?
