If he was born in HI, he is not an anchor baby according to US Code. Those that claim his mother was too young to confer citizenship per the progressive laws implemented under Johnson, are wrong. The age requirement only applies if it is proven he was born on foreign soil. I do not believe he has been hiding his original birth records, but is hiding the fact hat legally he became Barry Soetoro “Sobarkah” and that upon his return to the US in 1971 or at his coming of age, either his mother or he ever renounced that Indonesian citizenship that would be recorded in his vital records with the HDOH.

However, by the tragic timing of his birth taking place a few months short of his mother’s having lived in the U.S. for five years continuously after her 14th birthday, Barack Obama never achieved “natural born citizen” status and was as a matter of law constitutionally ineligible for the U.S. Presidency.

Wrong. It is impossible for him to have a "natural born citizen" status no matter where he was born. His father was an English subject and was never a U.S. citizen. The definition of "natural born" citizenship is both parents being U.S. Citizens at the time of the child's birth. It requires no divided loyalty among the parents.... End of story.

What are you using? I just tried with my hp officejet 6500. It converted as a lot of the Obama doc to text, but didn’t make layers, It just turned the characters, even text ones like the 8-8-61 into searchable characters. It didn’t do anything with Elizabeth Nordyke’s other than one big picture. It saved them off as pdfs. Maybe, I will load them later.

FYI, the information at the end of the article pertaining to Indonesia is very important. According to the divorce docs, Obama was adopted & therefore legally an Indonesian citizen. If he came back into the country without going through INS, he would still be considered a citizen of Indonesia 1st.

I detest Obama as much as the next guy and it's pretty clear to me that Bogus BC II is just that.

But I think you are wrong about how our laws treat citizens who have not made a decision as an adult to renounce their American citizenship. Assuming that Obama were an American citizen by birth, I think even if he returned here with an Indonesian passport as a minor he would still be regarded as an American citizen under our laws.

If you check Sven’s posting history you will find that he has copied parts of documents detailing how a minor child can indeed renounce US citizenship. From the State Department, IIRC.

I would assume by the ‘Registrar General’ OR someone duly authorized to act in his/her stead. That is to say, a clerk approved by the department and/or court.

If you deal with bureaucracies and/or the courts, you know that there are a number of duly authorized clerks designated to perform routine administrative functions for officials, among which would be the heretofore mundane assignment of registration numbers. It would be virtually impossible to get anything done otherwise.

It would certainly be interesting to know exactly how administrative functions were handled in the HDOH in 1961. But I’d bet the ranch that this whole line of argument comes down to the sequence in which the different birth certificates wound their way thru the administrative process.

In any case, I stand by my position that this is all a diversion from the real Constitutional question. And more’s the pity.

BTW, the Obama ‘personal attorney’ who flew to HI on the special mission is with the Perkins Coie firm of Robert Bauer, White House counsel who represented Obama in some of the eligibility suits before moving to the White House as his wife, Anita Dunn, departed.

August 4, 1961 was a Friday. According to the released BC, Obama was born that evening after 7pm. Even assuming the paperwork at the hospital was completed immediately for both Obama and the Nordyke twins, which is a function of the hospital staff, the attending physician, and the mother, it would not be handled by the registrar’s office until the following Monday at the earliest.

Contrary to what the COLB says, there is NO EVIDENCE of Obozo being born at that hospital, at any time. And NO EIDENCE of Stanley Ann Dunham/aka Obama ever delivering at that hospital. So, I believe he was born elsewhere. Where? God (and a few others) knows. The listing of the hospital as the birth place was given because the "first exam" of the newborn was purportedly done there.

When Obama returned as well as when he became of age, the laws were specific. One was required to renounce one or the other. Either by the American parent of the child upon return to the US or by the child upon the coming of age. The fact that Obama’s bio father was British was well known, but the adoption by the Indonesian was not & thus Obama can not let this be known & thus the obfuscation about releasing his birth records, then finally releasing ones that were blatantly forged.

I didn’t get multi-layers. I got an image with as much text as the OCR could pick up. It is one of the best OCR packages that I have seen and comes with the HP Officejet 6500.

We should all do experiments with our software and scanners and report back the results. Maybe, we can figure out the software and scanner the incompetent Obama Whitehorse of the Apocalypse is using.

Just curious — did it create some color layers and some purely black and white layers when you duplicated it?

Not pure black. If I set the black level properly in the scan or afterwards (I usually do it afterwards, then black would be pure black. On the Obama Cert the black in many places has a color cast. I just sampled one area and got: 27/45/31 (RGB). Pure black would be 0/0/0.

I'm baffled by the lack of chromatic aberration myself. This is not quite the same as monochrome. It is color fringes around sharp edges caused by lens distortion.

If it is a photocopy on safety paper as claimed by one official, there should be aberration and I don't see any. I have thought that perhaps the photocopier has a set amount of aberration reduction. I can do this easily in photo editing software, I don't know about copiers.

I'm pinging cartan in case he (she?) has anything else to add on this.
