Aint this the same guy dancing in celebration? I am sure it is.

Good luck pimping your blog there. Let us know how it works out for you.
While I’m not applying for an executive position in the Anonymous Cowards group, it’s rather hard to read a rant like Schenker’s without wanting to find a good sized 2x4 cluestick to whack those such as him up alongside the head to facilitate bringing a clue to their conscious attention. So I couldn’t resist going over to the “Publius Forum”, having never been there before, just to get an idea of the place.
Fortunately for me and the security of my computer, I run Linux and Firefox with NoScript, AdBlock+, Ghostery and other fine products that act as cyber condoms for my machine. Wandering about through all the ads that weren’t blocked, I did find the following on the ‘about’ page. While you read it, please try to suppress any major giggles, gleeful snorts or guffaws that blatant hypocrisy and bigotry usually bring forth:
>> “This is not a democracy, folks. Its benevolent dictatorship. If I dont like you or your comments, they will be deleted. To those left-wing hatemongers out there, people dont come to this webpage to read your misspelled, grammatically challenged drivel. They come here to read the main works, not your fine efforts to reveal your own stupidity. If in your comment you curse, youre gone. If you act like a jerk, youre gone. If you start calling people Hitler (as you loony leftists are wont to do at every turn), youre gone. Chances are if you are relatively sane, your reply will stay. But if you act like a normal liberal i.e. a distempered, half educated, jerkoff youll be canceled, deleted, blocked, and with malice.
Whine all you want. I just dont care. You want to spew your braindead, garbage go back to the DailysCuz or the Dummicratic Underground or re-join the profane morons at Wankette. Youll fit in better there. Here we want elevated discussion not your normal liberal blather. If you cant be civil and intelligent, lefties, you arent welcome here.
So, dont be all shocked when I delete you and your left-wing blah, blah, OK? My board, my rules. Dont like it, lefties? Heres an idea DONT come back.” <<
So, Marc Schenker, I don’t care who you write for, part-time or full time. If you write the material, YOU own the copyright, not the Examiner or Publius Forum, or whomever. YOU have the complete rights and authority to post the full content on Free Republic of your rants, puerile diatribes or whatever. Don’t hide behind the Examiner legal smokescreen that you have to post only an excerpt. YOU, Sir, are pimping your blog on Free Republic and Mr. Robinson has every much right on HIS site, as Mr. Huston does on his, to condone or facilitate comments pointing out that you are indeed pimping your blog posts— which are true.
Don’t like it? Then you really should heed the words of Mr. Huston, quoted above, which apply just as much at FR and from Mr. Robinson: “Whine all you want. I just dont care.”
Oh, and just a quick note. Your dermatologist called and said your skin thickening cream that everyone prescribed for you is on backorder. Maybe you can just try to grow some balls in the meantime.

Sheeeyit. That's nuthin'. He (she?) oughta try taking on the Legalize Drugs wackos.
Begone crybaby. You're taking up valuable bandwidth.
And....I don't want to be hammered by Freepers who are obsessed with “blog pimping”.
Alexa Traffic Ranking for Publiusforum.com = 593,019
Marc appears to have been Schenked.
I did not read your entire post but is the gist of it that you could be or promoting the Ulster man and his so called “insider” series? I think Uman reads the news and makes the “insider”stories up as they go along and get money from all the blog hits.
Could this be accurate in any way?
Some people just become fixated on an issue, to the detriment of conservative activism.
In my humble opinion, there is ample room on this forum for the posting of blog excerpts and articles, and, if I'm not mistaken, there is even a category, which encompasses blogs, intended just for that purpose.
In short, this site becomes richer in conservative content because of these various blog contributors.
Blogging is, after all, a phenomenon which has become very popular in recent years, and I, as a 13-year member of this site, see no reason to repress those who post useful content excerpted from their blogs.
Abusers can always be handled on a case-by-case basis.
LOL ping
To his point, Examiner.com has more pop-ups and tracking cookies than most sites I've seen. It is almost readable if you don't have a pop-up blocker turned off. Complaints about Examiner articles don't just happen here. I've seen the same complaints at forums on eGullet, Southern Living, HGTV, ParcBench and other sites. For example, I just went to Dallas DIY Mechanic on Examiner.com (just chose a random one so as to not seem like I am picking on the poor author of this article) and one article had at least 8 tracking cookies. Techrepublic a while back had an article in which they referred to Examiner as 'trojan territory'. Virus may be the wrong term but it the cookies and pop-ups make that site as annoying as hell... oh yea, and no matter how they shine it up, it is still a pay-per-click blog.
The big point though with some of these whiny bloggers is they simply don't respect the sites they post on. This isn't a FR thing. You can find complaints about bloggers 'pimping' all over the web. Every private site has the right to set standards for how they want things posted. FR has many, many, many bloggers who respect the site and don't hear a word from those who call out spammers. I only recall a handful of major zots for spamming- folks like Anthony Martin, Grant Swank, and Warner Hudson. All of them posted hundreds of articles with little or no interaction except attacking other members of the site who were critical of them (especially Hudson). I have a feeling the real zots came from how they treated other members, not for directly spamming.
For all the immaturity he claims of others, his crybaby approach is far more immature than I would expect from a writer. Seems he hasnt a clue about why people need anonymity when discussion hothead topics like politics. Impracticality is a sure sign of juvenile impulsiveness.
Fundamentally he promoted his blog. I notice his last piece was posted to that "Personal/Blogger" section of FR.
He doesn't seem to recognize or respect an apparent FR cultural taboo broken by his self-promotional actions. I don't post to that section and didn't notice any guidelines for posting at a quick check.
Obviously folks are sensitive to traffic being driven to a blog to pull in ad revenue. It's irritating but here you also know it's a blog before you go.
I don't know if he participated in FR other than on the blog "pimp" postings or not. I'm not that interested in his history.
Some of those who called him out focused on association with Examiner.com. The site looks like a content farm which detracts from whatever legitimacy its content may have.
What's the guideline for posting to the blogger area? Is it strictly verboten for a writer to excerpt and link to a site he's associated with?
Whatever his "conservative credentials" he seems to have a chip on his shoulder and reading this screed I'm not particularly interested in going to his blog posts.
When I saw the topic, I thought it was about something other issue.
Yet, when I posted a thread asking blog pimps to post their blogs in one place, he didn’t show up. Although humblegunner did a fine lounge act that those who were on the thread greatly enjoyed.
There has been and continues to be a certain amount of allowed harassment on this site on different pet peeves of those who do the harassing.
I post alot less because of it these days. It has gotten much worse.
You don’t see the old homeschool flame wars, but there are plenty of others who, in gang like style, have no room for others opinions, and verbally try to disrupt or shut down any discussion that isn’t to their liking.
Soooo, what was the guy’s FR name? Publius?
