I know this has been posted before but here's my video on the fake long-form released earlier today. Feel free to share if you'd like.
As far as I know if it was a straight scan to a .pdf there would not be any layers. It would be a flat image. Looks like somebody created this document and forgot to flatten it.
That doesn’t mean the information is false but I’m virtually certain this wasn’t a straight scan from the original.
I didn’t even have to see the document to know it was fake. good job taking it apart for all to see.

I note that TheSmokingGun.com has a comment post that asks why the name Barack Obama appears - shouldn’t it Barry Sotero. Anyone have a take on this? Was Obama Sr. still in the pic when Jr. was born or was the name supposed to be Barry Sotero?

when the layers were turned off, you can easily see where the green background had been scrubbed away.......these liberals are desparate, and this forgery is going to be difficult for them to overcome...it’s so amateurish. as a college freshman in the 60’s, we did a better job on fake IDs.

This is going to get very interesting.
From what I’m hearing, Sean, Glenn and Rush are on the “forget about the BC” bandwagon. I don’t see how this can get legs without support from our own side?
This isn’t just a ‘could’ or ‘possible’ issue but common.
Here is some info on how/why .pdf scanned docs will have layers. There are two reasons, OCR- Optical Character Recognition and MRC- Mixed Raster Content. The former explains the text layers, the latter explains the image itself broken into layers as well as what some call the “white out” look. There are even image samples in the second link that are almost exact mirror images of that “white out” effect.

I suggest studying these before continuing this line of ‘proof’ regarding the layers.

I’m a semi-birther. I don’t claim he was born in Kenya, but I do have doubts he was born in Hawaii. Until he comes clean and tells the truth I’ll forever consider him illegitimate.
I kinda think he may have been born in Vancouver, Canada, since his mom had a history with Washington state and Canada had socialized medicine to cover the costs of a birth there. Besides, it’s a lot shorter flight than going all the way to Africa to give birth in a 3rd world toilet of a country.

Please explain why the word “None” was cut into “Non” and “e” on line 17a.
I don’t believe OCR or any other ‘innocent’ answer would explain that away.
Too many reasons not to believe in the legitimcay of the document as provided.
If you look at the original, the typed letters there are slightly different, like an old typewriter where one strikes a letter harder than another. OCR could see this as different text. It doesn’t read, it only recognizes what is a character or not.
So far, none of this seems unusual. It is weird if you don’t have experience working with document scanning and filing, but do that a bit and see the results and you’ll see stuff like this a lot.
Google things like ‘scanned document layers’, OCR, etc and you can see examples all voer the place like this.
The way to prove a theory is to repeat it with the same results.
I'm WAY too technically limited to attempt to make a document show up in layers etc. through common use of the program.
Maybe someone else in FR could prove or disprove the OCR theory before we all get tarred with the "racist red-neck" brush?

If I paid a debt to you with a counterfeit bill and you doubted the legitimacy of the bill, then tried to make good on the debt by handing you another counterfeit bill, would you be okay with that?
He can produce innumerable fake documents and I’ll doubt them all. This guy has problems because he can’t come up with a genuine document and people are figuring that out. The fact that you seem okay with his faked document kinda worries me.
It is time for Fox to show this.
